Well I am a POR lover, even though I don't have pictures to post and have only stayed in the AB section not magnolia terrace, I can still tell you why my family loves POR. We love the peacefulness, the Tom Sawyer-ish laid back Southern charm. It's wonderful to come back to after a hectic day at the parks. We love breakfasts at Boatwrights (dinner was just ok). The blue print omlette and the Sweet Potato Pancakes are fabulous. The boat to DTD is a great relaxing benefit of this resort as well. This is about the only place where you can do something that causes big dramatic arguements elsewhere... you CAN pool hop. Guests at POR can use the pools at POR and POFQ and vice versa. At POR there are several quiet pools and the main pool at Ole Man Island. Not to be missed at POR is Bob Jackson the piano man in the River Roost Lounge...he is a HOOT. Fun for all ages, it doesn't even feel like a "bar" atmosphere. Things available that we didnt' take advantage of were bike, surrey bike and boat rental and horse drawn carriage rides.
