POR - is this possible?

We're staying at POR in December and are travelling with family. We'd really like connecting rooms. However, they will need two beds plus the trundle, but sine there are only three of us, we could (and would prefer to) have one king bed plus a trundle. Does anyone know if all connecting rooms have the same setup, or is it possible that a king room might connect to a standard double-bed room?

I don't think that is possible - I believe the Port Oleans Riverside only has rooms with 2 double bed + trundle (pulls out from under the double bed) or just 1 King sized bed period.

Also, just so you know, the trundle beds are only in the Alligator Bayou... not the mansions and I've never had a connecting room request honoured there...

I'm sorry, I don't have the answer to your question. From my understanding, with the King size bed room, you are only allowed 2 people. CRO and Expedia wouldn't let us book the only available room at CBR with the king size. They said the capacity is only to 2 people. Thank goodness that later we were able to snatch the 2 beds at POFQ where I wanted to be anyway!

Really? Bummer. (not about the trundles being AB, I already knew that, but about the low possibility of getting connecting rooms). "Adjoining" would be okay, but connecting would sure be nicer. Has anyone been able to get connecting rooms in AB? Do they even *have* them?

I am very quite sure that there are connecting room. But as far as king size connected to the 2 double bed with trundle, I am not sure about that. And king size will hold only 2 people.

There are definitely connecting rooms, at least in the AB section. We had two of them in Dec. 2003, and it was great!
