POR handicapped rooms? room 8020

We have stayed at POR for three of our trips. DS is in a wheelchair. We have always stayed in the same room.....8020. We have not requested this, it just happens. I love POR and don't get me wrong the room is beautiful BUT...last trip we commented on how we would just love to try another room.....We had asked but it was so busy (the day after the hurricanes) they didnt have another available. Anyone had luck with another handicapped access room at POR? Just curious. Thanks.

We stayed in 8017, it's a room with a roll in shower and a king bed so since there were 4 of us we also got the connecting room 8018 for free a non accessible with 2 queen beds.
