POR Free Dining

Has POR ever been included in the fall free dining promotion? With a family of 5, this resort seems to be a great moderate option. Thoughts?

I believe it was in years past, but not for 2014 (fall at least). Just a guess, but it's so popular for various reasons, that wdw didn't need to include it to fill it up. Although, I have seen people post about it being included in bounceback offers.

What I can tell you for sure, is that Caribbean Beach Resort is undergoing refurbishments right now, and many of the rooms have the murphy bed now. So, you will at least have one other moderate to look at for possible free dining!

Forgot to also say, you cannot currently book the new rooms at CBR for 5 people, but speculation is that you should be able to by spring, when the refurb should be mostly finished. Hope this helps!

It was included in 2013. The problem with 2014 was that so many people booked a room believing that it would be included. Because the resort was nearly full Disney decided they did not need to offer free dining to fill the rooms.

We got POR in 2013 but for 2014 it was excluded so we booked CSR then we got a PIN Code and it was available with the PIN so we got to add my mom back on and now she gets to go. So excited!!!!

We have always stayed at POR with free DDP. Including our upcomming trip over Christmas and New Years, we have 2 weeks of free DDP!! I heard it is on the bounce back offer for 2015 too.

The entire Port Orleans resort (Riverside and FQ) were excluded from the last public offer. It's the first time that Riverside was excluded. No way to know what the next public offer will look like. The resort has been included in PIN code and bounceback offers.
