POR - FQ / Riverside Amenities

I had a tough time deciding whether to stay in POR FQ or POR Riverside for our three nights in November. I finally chose FQ but wonder if we are still able to use amenities at Riverside such as the pool. Is it really a long walk and is it worth it to check out their pools?

It's a bit of a walk, but both resorts are enjoyable in different ways. Since they are sister resorts, you can use both resorts ameneties. You could always catch the bus, if you don't want to walk that far.

We stayed at FQ last week but took the boat over to Riverside to check it out. We really liked the boat dock area...even though some of it was under construction, it was still very pretty looking. (we kinda liked this area more then FQ's boat area.)

The boat ride was really relaxing. We even walked back to our room afterwards (we were in building 7...not that far of a walk at all.)

Im about to make my second trip to POFQ. Two years ago when we stayed at FQ we rode th boat many times over to POR. It was a nice peaceful ride. You can use their pool, food court....We liked returning to FQ side though cause it was less crowded. Our DDs loved FQ and being able to take the boat to R. Have a great time!
