OK, now I am a bit worried. I just booked an impromptu trip 11/16-11/21 at POR Royal Rooms. Now I know why they were one of the few options available. I truly hope the room will not be an issue. I would love to hear feedback from anyone there now. I see that there is a delay in refurbishing these rooms...yikes!

I started to worry when reading this, but friends of mine stayed at POR last week and nothing but good things to say about their stay.

I had a coworker and his wife, 3 kids, and both sets of grandparents earlier this month and they absolutely loved it. The stayed in the bayou.

All replies and opinions subjective. Oh and we were there this summer and loved it...found leftovers in the fridge a few years back...still loved.
