POR - Different bldgs

I have never stayed in POR. From different things I've read & seen,
it seems like they have 3 different kinds of rooms, AB, Magnolia & Manor???
I would love to get an idea of the differences between them. Are they
different price ranges?

There are two parts. Alligator Bayou and Magnolia Bend with the Mansions allearsnet(dot)com has a bunch of great photos of POR. There pics of AB section are outdated though because they were remodeled in the past couple years. Here is a pic of an AB room from our trip last Sept. AB side is the only part that has the trundle beds that will accomodate 5 to a room.
There standard rooms on AB and Magnolia Bend would all be the same price except of course waterview is more which many say it's not worth paying extra for waterview at POR. AB section is more rustic and has lush landscaping. Magnolia Bend is fashioned with plantation-style mansion homes and more formal landscaping. Both sides are beautiful!
