POR Cotton Co-op

Last March we stayed at POR for the first time. One night we unexpectedly walked into the Cotton Co-op and a great time listening to the piano player doing alot of great musc and audience envolvement. It was a real treat that we weren't expecting.

We are going to be back there in a few weeks and we would like to stop in again if the entertainment is still there.

If you have been at POR recently, is the piano player still there? Did you like
the show?

I believe his name is Bob and he had a big crowd there in July. We were told to not miss the show by others who have stayed there. He was only there certain days of the week. I think his schedule was on the info they give you at check-in.

I think his name is Bob Jackson and he has a website. If you do a search using his name I bet you will find lots of info. I have never seen him play...but I will be staying at the POR for the first time in just about a week and I plan to check him out! Although I thought the name of the place that he plays at is "The River Roost Lounge." I don't know for sure, though!

Yes, Bob Jackson. I believe his schedule is Wed - Sun nights at POR. The hours are 7ish?-midnite.

3 days till POR cant wait to see bob...heard so much about him...have kids 7 and 8 ..will they like him

Kids will love him ... even older grandparents think he is worth listening to (and that is a huge compliment). He is a blast to watch and brings both adults and kids right into the entertainment ... wonderful show. It is worth making a point to schedule a couple hours in the lounge watching his show.

Just came back from POR on Tues and he was there and the place was rockin'! He really gets everyone (kids included) in on the fun. We had a great time.
