POR Bus Stop ?

Considering staying at POR now. Which Bus Stop is the first to be stopped at or picked up going to the parks? (I know the bus goes to POFQ first)

We were at the North Bus stop. When we got on in the morning there were hardly any people on board and we never went to the POFQ.

We always caught the bus at the South Depot. The bus would then proceed to each of the other POR stops provided the bus was not full. I am assuming that this is the first bus stop.

We got on at the West Depot and it was the first stop during our entire stay. The main (south) depot was last. Like PrincessPaczki said, it was empty or almost empty when it picked us up, and we never went to POFQ. I believe on the way back the Main Depot was first, followed by West, North, and East. The West Depot was never crowded. We were there by 7:45 or 8:00 each morning, which I highly recommend! It pays off getting to the parks early.

Dina, my family and I were at POR from 6/9 to 6/15. The bus always picked up at the south depot first...the one right outside the lobby and gift shop...and then, if the bus wasn't full, went around to the other three stops. It was almost always full from the POFQ guests, though. On drop-off, the bus stopped again at POFQ first and then let out at the south depot. Some people have said that it drops off at other depots first but that wasn't how it was two weeks ago. Have a nice trip!!

I have found that the pattern is not always the same. That is why the different answers. Disney will adjust stops if too many people are waiting at one spot.

LOL, I know it's confusing!

Here's what I THINK is the case: Bus picks up at POFQ first, then heads to POR where it stops at the Main (south) depot first. If there is still space, it then goes to the West, then North, and then East before going to the park. But if it fills up at the Main Depot it goes directly to the park. In that case another bus is dispatched which then starts at the West Depot, followed by North, East, and Main, and then goes to the park. Still with me? This could all be completely wrong, but it explains the different answers. I just know that when we were there, when we got on at the West Depot it was empty or nearly empty and the Main Depot was last pickup. When you're waiting at the bus depot you aren't aware of what's happening before the bus gets to your stop. You'll read how sometimes the bus fills up at the Main Depot and then just goes to the park, skipping the other stops. But it's not like those people are just left there waiting. Another bus will pull up shortly to pick them up.

If your room is near the West Depot I would highly recommend using it instead of walking to the Main Depot. It was never crowded, whereas many people say the Main Depot was.

We honestly had no problems with the buses during our stay.

Like I said, this might be all wrong, but it's my little theory!

Which buildings would be best for using the west bus stop? Sounds like a good choice for catching the bus.
