POR - Best place to stay/Best rooms

Where is the best place to stay in POR? My five friends and I have two rooms reserved (one w/a King, the other two Dbl beds). We would like to know where is the best place to be in the resort and if we can get connecting rooms. We would like to be close to the action, but not too close. Anything will help.

I just honeymooned there and we had room number 8211 in Acadian House. It had a king size bed and connected to another room, though I'm not sure what beds were in the other room. We were very close to the North Depot and just a short scenic walk from the Main Buildings. I think that mansion or one of the bayou buildings near it would be the perfect spot for your party.
