Hello all. I am planning a stay at POR and coming up with things to do on non park days. I will not have a car and I don’t want to use ride shares or Minnie Vans. So as an example I want to visit Boardwalk area. My plan would be to bus to DHS, and take the boat to Boardwalk. To get back I would bus from Boardwalk to DS, then walk through to the boats back to FQ for beignets and maybe Scat Cats before walking back to POR. Not the most efficient way but I want to explore, not just uber directly to everything.

I was wondering if any of you have any other rambling loops to explore that you would recommend or any tips to share? I also want to visit CSR, CBR, and the monorail loop for the Electric Water Pageant.

Don’t forget that you’ll have the Skyliner as well as the boat available for travel between DHS and the Crescent Lake resorts, and visiting all five Crescent Lake resorts (BW, Yacht & Beach, Swan & Dolphin) plus maybe the Swan Reserve could take an entire afternoon or/and evening depending on how long you spend at each.

Skyliner from DHS is best way to reach CBR, and the internal CBR bus stops right near the Skyliner station, in case you want to ride around to the various sections of CBR as opposed to walking.

For touring monorail resorts, we’d bus to MK, then boat to GF and walk to Poly. Monorail to CR, then boat to WL and FW. That too would take quite a lot of time!

Those will all work. I'd also suggest taking the bus to DHS then riding the skyliner to CBR>Riviera>Epcot. At Epcot, walk to BC/YC/BW then boat back to DHS to catch the bus back to PO

....just to add one fly to the ointment... You can walk to the Boardwalk from DHS (by the Skyliner, there is a path by the river). It's a beautiful walk. It takes about 15 minutes...20 when we stop to talk to the ducks or see some flowers. So...there are a lot of ways to do what you've outlined. I hope your adventure is full of joy!

From POR, I have taken the boat to Springs. Then bus to another resort that you want to walk around. If you pick a Skyliner resort, like Caribbean Beach or Riviera, then you can take the Skyliner to Studios, and then take a bus to one of the Monorail resorts. Yes, I have done this - I like to flip around the resorts too.
