Hi, has anyone ever stayed 5 in a room at POR, with a trundle bed? What about 5 and a baby under 3? We are 3 adults, 3 kids, DS9, DS4, and DS2. Any thoughts? Are we crazy to consider this?:confused3

We stayed in Alligator Bayou with a trundle bed when our children were younger. We are a family of five. My DD who used the trundle bed loved it. :)

We stayed two times in POR with 5 and a baby. The first year our children were 14, 11, 8 and almost 2. Our oldest chose to sleep on the trundle both years and our son slep with my husband and I and the two other girls slept in the other bed. The first year we got a pack and play but we didn't use it. We weren't in the room much so it wasn't too cramped.

I think it depends. You will definitely be crowded but if you're not going to be in the room much that may not be a concern to you. We've stayed with 5. The trundle is basically a small mattress barely off the floor. You'd probably have to put the baby in a portable crib between the beds with the trundle on the outside of one of the beds. Could make getting out of bed interesting. You might want to consider the family suites to have more room. While POR fit our needs when our boys were younger we can only stay deluxe now. We just need the space now. Good luck with your decision!;)

We just stayed there this past September. We are a family of 5 also. My kids were 15,12 and 9. My 12 yr old son actually ended up on the Trundle bed. My DD9 was supposed to but...she saw the little geckos running around and wanted no part of being that close to the floor:rotfl2: DS said the bed was comfy. The room wasn't to cramped, I had to keep on top of everyone to keep it clutter free though.

We actually did get a gecko in our room. My DD's were coming in with some ice and it shot right past them into the room. They just about died!! It was climbing up a wall behind the bed. My DH said "Just leave it". Me and my daughters were like "NO WAY!!". I told him if he didn't catch it and remove it I was either going to A- find it myself and squish it or B- get another room!!:rotfl:

DS and him caught it in a cup and safely released it outside.

Have Fun!!

have you thought about a family suite at ASMu. That is our plan this year, the standard rooms are just getting too crowded, and we can't afford a suite at any of the other resorts. They look nice.

with 3 adults you will be paying an extra charge for the extra adult.

these are double (full) beds - not queen beds. so you get 2 double beds and trundle for 6 people.

might go with 2 rooms at a value resort - then you would get 4 double beds and no extra charge.
