POR and POFQ

First time to POR next week!! Very excited and have a quick question, how far is POR from POFQ.....is it a short walk or do the buses to the park go to both so I can hitch a ride with them???

You can walk, take the bus, drive, or even take the boat to DTD. It stops at both resorts. The walking distance depends on where you are in the resort. It took us about 10-15 minutes to walk from Magnolia Terrace to the POFQ pool. It's a pretty walk, too.

Not sure about the buses- I would imagine they go to both- but it's a very scenic walk of maybe a mile from one end to the other and worth doing just to see it- gorgeous!

You can walk between the two. It is about a half mile between the main buildings of POR and POFQ. Or you can ride the boat going to Downtown Disney as it will stop at POFQ along the way.

They are sister resorts so you use either pool as well.

We always walk between the resorts. It is so pretty walking along there. There are also many ducks that nest along the way. It is pretty awesome to see. There is always the boat and the bus but if you dont mind, enjoy the walk.

We love the walk along the River between the two resorts. Its beautiful and quite peaceful. My kids love to look for geckos (sp?) and ducks. We have also taken the boat ride to have dinner at POR while we were staying at POFQ and enjoyed that too.

I will always have great memories of the pathway between POFQ and POR. While staying at POFQ this past July, I would take a morning jog around the pathway "loop" each morning. It is around 1.7 miles from the far end of POFQ and back.

From a distance standpoint, if you walked from the pool/boatdock at POFQ to the marina at POR, it would be like walking from Spaceship Earth to the China Pavillion at Epcot. Hope that gives you something to relate it to.
