POR and POFQ within walking distance?

We are planning on staying at POFQ this June. I did look at some of the pics of the two resorts but now I'm kind of confused. Are these two resorts together? I read some where that you can catch a bus from POR to DD... If we stayed at POFQ could we walk to POR and catch the boat? Also does POFQ have a sit down restuarant? Thx

We just got back form a week at POFQ tonight!

The resorts are in walking distance. The boat stops at both resorts and there is no sit-down restaurant at FQ.

It was a fabulous stay, though!

Yep, it's a short walk across the bridge over the Sassalouga River to POFQ from POR. My BF and I stayed at POR last year. IT's a really nice, scenic...and romantic walk!

Short answer yes---long answer maybe....

Some friends of ours stayed at POR in October when we were at POFQ. After long, long days in the parks we really didn't feel like walking between the resorts so we took the boat. BTW our friends said the bbq ribs at the sit down restaurant at POR were excellent.

10-15 minute walk depending on which building you start out from. It is a pleasant walk though.
