POR AB quiet pool pics?

I'm curious if anyone has pictures of the quiet pools in the AB section of POR? I have seen on allearsnet pics of the mansions quiet pools but I have never seen any in the AB section.

I don't have pictures of the quiet pools in AB, but there was one right outside our bldg (bldg 16). It looks like like a regular plain pool the kind you'd see at a regular plain hotel. It was kinda L shaped. The kids had fun playing in it one afternoon for a bit. It's not as hectic or as crowded as the main pool, more relaxed and well...quieter. Hope that helps!

It is sort of s shaped and a nice depth for swimming. When we were there it was very nicely heated and very quiet.

Thanks! Great picture MagicMouse! I did see some pics of the quiet pools in the mansion section. When I was looking at the map of POR I noticed how the drawings they had of the mansion pools were like they looked in the pics on allearsnet, straight rectangular shape. When I looked at the AB pools on the map you can see how they are shaped different. Like the one you posted.This had my curiousity up. That pool looks so inviting right now! I simply cannot wait!!! Only 2 weeks to go! It's getting crazy at my house these days!

BethC1952 those pictures are beautiful. Can you tell me what building you stayed in to have the pool so close? We have a handicapped son and we would like to be near a quiet pool and close to the main bldg. We are thinking that after seeing the map we should ask for Oak Manor? Does this seem right? We will have a car so we dont need to be near a bus stop but would like to be near main bldg for food etc. We like to be able to let him walk short distances without his chair. Are there any Bldgs in the Aligator Bayou section that would work for us? Thanks..........

The pools in AB really do seem so much nicer to me than the one's in the Mansion section. All the landscaping around the pools and the shapes of the pools in AB just seem to give it a special touch.The Mansions look nice but more formal and not quite as cozy as the AB. Thanks for the great pics!

There was a quiet pool right outside our bldg and we were bldg 16, it would have also been really close to 17, 18 and even 14 and 27. I just looked at a map posted on the allears.net site that shows the whole resort area and it appears that each cluster of bldgs in AB section has a quiet pool area. 34, 37, 38, 26, and 15 seem to be a bit further from the pools than the other bldgs, although bldg 15 is close to the main bldge and the bus and really not too far from the quiet pool.
