Just wanted to let you know that Walgreens has the smaller mesh popup hampers 2 for $5.00. These were a lifesaver for our last vacation. They did not take up any room in the suitcase and we were able to keep the dirty clothes seperate. (daughter can't tell the difference between a clean sock and a dirty one!) They also were easy for me to carry to the laundry room at the hotel.

I bought ours at Wal-mart. I guess mine is the larger one though. Not a problem because it folds up nicely and I put it on the bottom of the suitcase before adding anything else. I take it to Disney every year and like JennDisney said it's wonderful for taking laundry to the laundry room. It has several pockets that I put my roll of quarters and laundry supplies in. On each trip I have been asked by other guests "where did you get your laundry bag?" Anyway, it's very handy to have!!!

canwegosoon ~ I found these at our local Family Dollar for $3.00. If you have that store around you might want to check there. :flower:

I bought a set of these at Bed Bath & Beyond last fall. A black one for DS's room and a white one for DD's. I forget what I paid for them but you can bet I used a coupon and a rewards credit card that was linked to my UPromise account :flower:

Thanks for posting this. I would have never thought about buying one of those! Off to Walgreens today!

We use these in our camper, and they are great! I got a second set at Walmart. The 1st ones I had, I had ordered from someplace like LTD and as soon as there were any clothes in them and I tried to lift them, the handles tore off. The Walmart ones are MUCH better quality than the other ones I had.

Would this be a good idea for college dorm rooms, or is there not enough room to put a hamper up? I'm trying to make a gift bag of college/dorm life neccesities for this year's grads, and I thought this might be a good addition. I'm may look at Family Dollar today if I get the chance. Do they come in several different colors?

Not only are these pop-up hampers good for traveling, I also use these at home for my laundry. Got tired of lugging around a basket, and then where do you put it when its not in use? Of course mine are ALWAYS in use :flower: !

I bought one to travel with and 5 that I use daily.

I also take the popups on vacation with us. I found mine at a local dollar store ($1) and stocked up on them. My handles do break if I try to use them when the basket is full, but otherwise, the basket itself is pretty sturdy.

We stayed in a studio at VWL in December, and 2 fit perfectly underneath the vanity sink. We kept Dirty clothes in one and all of our shoes in the other. I kept my Laundry tablets and dryer sheets in a ziploc bag at the bottom of the hamper and when it was wash time, I was ready to go with everything in the basket. It really helped to keep the room tidy!

I will definitely take them on our DCL cruise in the fall, because our room will be much smaller.

I think they would be great for any small space. They do come in differerent colors too. I found some in lime green!

My dollar store has them, I buy a lot of them and use the for traveling, but also use them to "wrap" a child's present in, like you would with a gift bag. Except that they get to use it as a toy "bin" or hamper. My kids have few of them in their rooms to keep things out of hand!

Check those .99 stores!

Am I the only challenged one here? I bought mine at Linens-n-things and I think I paid about $7 for it. It's pretty big-about 3 feet tall. It was perfect for our resort room and I carried it to the laundry room with handles in tack and it was heavy. However...when I was packing up to go home I could get it back to the nice perfect round small shape. It went home as an oval.

Hi from Ontario, Canada. We now have four large ones(one per family member),then a smaller one at the front door for winter hats and mitts.Sounds like a GREAT idea to bring one along. Good reason to buy another one. Does not take long for on to rip. :wave2: :wave2: :wave2: :wave2:
