just curious if Popsicles, ice pops, or nondairy frozen treats are available onboard the Dream?

Thanks.

Posted this a while back, but didn't get any responses. Does anyone know? I have two sons that can't have dairy. But they do love frozen Popsicles. My other two love ice cream. Thinking Mickey bars as a treat as well as desserts at night - what are the options for the two who can't do dairy? Are there Popsicles or shaved ice? Cookies? Or should I plan to pack something to have for them? After all, it is vacation! :)

There is nondairy ice cream available in the ship. Have you noted their allergies with your reservation? I don't think there are Popsicles anywhere, there could be a nondairy treat available poolside but, as a vegetarian/vegan, my recollection is that it is the MDRs that have access to rice dream or tofutti :)

Thank you. And yes, I did note their allergy.

I was reading a blog of someone on our WBPC cruise in May and they were eating "Frozen Olaf" pops. They stated that one of the poolside servers was going around and passing them out They looked like Big Sticks (but flat).

ok. i give up. what in the wide wide world of sports is "rice dream"?

LOL.... And that's why I'm looking for the Popsicles! But the RiceDream frozen treats are probably better than what happens when their tummies reject dairy! Now that's :crazy2:

You can also get cookies from room service. They will warm them and bring milk too.

Cookies sound good... But think we'll pass on the milk. :)

Oooo, that sounds promising. We will look for those. Thanks

Since that was on the Wonder, I'm thinking that they may have been a special onboard due to the Frozen themeing they did for the Alaska cruises.

I could be wrong. Has anyone else had them on the other ships?

Never had frozen Olaf on the Fantasy.

I thought I read the stuff out of the soft serve machines is actually none dairy. You can ask there. I know it isn't creamy that's for sure.

On the Fantasy they passed out Popsicles a couple of days on the pool deck. I forget the name, started with a K. They were the really long ones that look like they are twisted.

They were Itzakadoozie pops.

On the Dream they also have sorbet available in the MDRs. It was a different flavor each night.

I think they have soy and almond milk.

Itzakadoozie pops are the yummiest pops ever! I hope that wasn't just a Frozen themed cruise item.
