Good morning! Just bumping up a little.

We actually don't have any openings (other than 1 day) until October. We have October 5-13th open. Also 10/20 to 10/24.

Hi everyone! I got a PM from plutos fan (currently at WDW) and our fridge went MIA again, but she was able to get another one to use. Good news is that it's the larger size, with a bigger freezer. Sounds like the same as the one I used last Sept. (that went missing right after I left). See picture in FAQ. Bad news is the toaster is gone again. Maybe someone going soon can add a toaster again. There's plenty of room inside the fridge to hold a toaster (and coffee pot) if someone wants to leave one.

I hope we can keep this same fridge for awhile. We do have a few days in storage over the next month, so we'll see what happens. The fridge was only in storage for a few days after Jchance, but it still went MIA. This is why, when possible, in-person swaps are so important. I would love to be able to use the bigger fridge. I'm typing this with crossed fingers!

I've asked mellgonzales to put my name and number on the fridge, just in case. Though I haven't received any calls from POP L&F for over a year now. I think if they can't find your fridge, they just give you another one that's laying around. Works for me!

IMO - this is great news. I was lamenting the loss of the bigger fridge a few months ago. There will be four in our room and three water bottles for four people just wan't going to cut it. Now if we can just prominently mark the box so this one doesn't go missing, I will be one happy camper.

Another plus is the news that the bigger fridge will have room inside for the Senseo coffee pot I'm adding to the swap.

Any chance pluto's fan might be able to send a photo or two upon her return from the World?

I know you're still in the "cross your fingers" section but at least you're getting closer! And you're no longer out there on your own-you've got swappers all around you! I never thought this would hold together for your trip-but things really look good now! I just got a PM from someone who can use it during part of the 11/8 to 11/20 gap. So, once I get her confirmation info, I will move you, and all those before you, into NON "cross your fingers" territory-one less thing to worry about!

My plan is to send it down to Pop the last week in August to your attention - unless someone speaks up that they would like to use it sooner. It's all boxed up and ready to go (never actually been out of the box as I won it in a contest and already had one).

I'm not that familiar with the Senseo system-so if someone wants to make coffee they need to bring along some of those pod things, right? Can you just make hot water too? I looked at their website and it looks pretty cool! Wish I drank coffee! I see that they sell the pods at WM so that's pretty convenient. Lately, my DM has been hooked on the iced coffee at McD's so it looks like she could use it to make her own. Just add some ice and milk (from the fridge) and there it is!

I'll see what I can find out but every time our fridge has gone MIA POP has given us one that has been sitting there for awhile, unclaimed. Your swapper should be able to get POP to replace your fridge, especially since they have a claim check. After 2 years I've learned to be happy with whatever fridge POP gives us. I personally can't call WDW whenever our fridge goes missing to see if they can locate it.(Time difference and cost being an issue) Even at the start of this when I did call Lost and Found and Luggage Services, I never got satisfaction. The only time our fridge (or a replacement) was located was when the swapper there took care of it. At the beggining, before all the swaps that are happening, I would get an occasional call from L&F or LS telling me they had our fridge and would be disposing of it soon if noone picked it up soon. But those calls stopped over a year ago. I think the policy is now to give out whatever fridge they have collecting dust. It's very possible that we now have back the fridge I used last Sept. that went MIA after being at LS for 1 few hours.

What I like is that I can make a fresh cup quickly and don't have to make a full pot at a time. It's also nice not to have to worry about filters and the pods are easier to toss in the trash than loose grounds. I bring small bottles of flavored syrups so I set up a little coffee bar on the table next to the fridge.

FWIW - when I make iced coffee, I use powdered milk. It's easier to pack, doesn't require refrigeration and won't taste so watered down when I add ice. Some of my current favorites are banana caramel, toffee nut and cinnamon dolce. Yummo!

I hit the 60 day mark yesterday! Can't wait any longer - the suitcases are out on the bed in the guestroom. I'll start tossing things in there as I think of them. My custom autograph book, passport, t-shirts, window decorations and door magnets are almost finished. WooHoo!!

I'm getting very excited now too-it's finally getting closer. I've got my small CD share set up. We're less than 1 month, and 1 week to go! I haven't started packing yet, but I will soon. And I have to decide if I'm going make any new shirts for us this year. Our shirts from the last few years are still good, even DD8 can still fit in hers. I'm thinking of making at least one new style though.

I used the little plastic jars that baby food juice comes in and transfer out of my big bottles. Then I label them and double bag them in ziploc gallon size bags. I'm kinda funny about my coffee and syrups so there are only a handful of brands I'll use.
