Hi there! After reading so many other posts about things i see so many of us are staying at POP at the same time! so i've decided to start a thread to see who's who at POP During September 29th-October 6th!!!!

We have requested 70s section building 10 first floor!! This is our FAVE location!!!!

We are also doing MNSSHP on October 5th!!! If you are joining us there, click at the link in the bottom of my signature!!!

Anyone else going to be at POP at this time??

We will have a message board on our door and our Alien Green in our windows, so drop us a line!! Oh and we will have our window decorated for Halloween!!

Just got back from an awesome trip to USO / IOA yesterday and had to do some catching up on this thread.

Just curious who here will be taking part in the Food and Wine Festival activities?? DH and I plan go to Party of the Senses. I am guessing it will be 9/30. We went a couple of years ago and it was a blast. We will probably take our kids 4 and 6 to the Sandcastle Club while we attend.

My sister, a travel agent, called today to make a room change for our reservation and was told ALL 50s, 60s, 70s rooms are now preferred rooms. Anyone else getting this information? I am very aggravated since as soon as I thought I had it figured out it the rules change again!!!

GRRR!!! haven't heard this yet, but figured it was coming since we all love to gush about the good rooms you don't have to pay for! and go figure this happens!! Disney needs to stop reading this board

I am mad, but will just deal with it, since we figure the resort is so small there are really no bad rooms, now we'll just try and request a fireworks view room!! we are SOOO not paying for the preferred room, not worth it for us!

I agree about not paying for the preferred rooms but from what she said all that isn't preferred now if 80s and 90s- there are no fireworks rooms at those- am I right? I thought it was the back of 50s, 60s and 70s.

I just emailed my sis and asked her to call and ask for a supervisor to get a real answer tomorrow about what is and isn't preferred. I posted another link on the resorts board and people are saying they are still getting conflicting info as recent as yesterday. I'll let you know if I get any good news. Worst case senerio, when I check in, I will ask for the closest non-preferred room and see what kind of can fall on us.
