OK, so I just got email from Disney... with regard to that craziness I engaged myself in last night....! I booked two rooms at the GF for two nights... can you believe that the cheapest room for one night with that discount is still more expensive than 3 nights at POP preferred at FULL PRICE!

lunch is serve! since its good friday.. I marinated salmon with soy sauce,honey,a lil vinegar,minced garlic and pepper and cookrd it on a grill pan... also have about 2 whole lemons cuts in slices boiling in water with 2 tsp vigar so the kitchen wont smell fishy... ... fish serve over brown rice off course!

Is anyone having anythng special for dinner? I am going to try to get DH to take us to the "Ginger Pad" kind of like japanese noodle bowls, or rice and .... whatever.... I will be having shrimp... same reason... Good Friday.

Iffy b/c he actually is looking into other jobs. Maybe not so bad if he is actually seriously considering leaving. But I don't think it is good if people just make it up to get raises. You hear about that all the time.

"telling" them to ask I think is kind of wierd. Maybe they know something that the workers don't? Maybe there was some sort of profit/windfall last year that can be turned into monies for the managers department budgets this year... but they can't say that??? I would definately ask for more money if I were happy where I was otherwise. Now, if he's going to leave no matter what when the right job comes along... then maybe not? Hell, I would ask anyway if I thought I was worth more $$$. BUT- WARNING - you may not want to take my advice! I just remembered when I left my last job, they wanted to keep me and offered me a job with less hours so the commute wouldn't be so bad (that was my major complaint) but I also asked for more money..... and thus, it is the "job I was last at"

I thought I was actually going to make it out of the house at a reasonable hour! But, then I took a shower, and got hungry, so made lunch for the kids.. and then there was mac and cheese all over the room!!! So, needless to say, little guy is up in bed! So, maybe we will get out later!

We don't really do a fish friday... just no meat... but we don't eat vegetables! So, usually pizza or fish. DH used to hate all fish, but now he will eat shrimp and calimari. I only eat shellfish. So, on fridays our options are very limited. (we only do the fridays during lent though)

Ooooh, I saw this awesome recipe for shrimp with pepperocini juice I think. Spicy!! If you want it, let me know. I love to cook italian. Last night we had homemade Roman pizza. Jul loves it b/c it is square. She had mushroom and Sean and I had chicken and garlic (I cut up a rotisserie on monday and used a little for pizza and the rest with bowtie pasta on wednesday.)

I don't know why DH knows this, but the only issue I saw with it was if they have to take that raise away from another co-worker. DH mentioned that there is a whole another section of the budget for out of cycle raises in cases like this. The company is currently 1500 workers short and people keep leaving.

I missed you too How are you - any trips to Denver planned yet ? Even just to see me is fine

Actually, I have a Private Quarters conference in Denver in July. I am hoping I can make it out there. If I am, we will get together! Ry and I may make the trek out that way this summer too to see my brother. Maybe we could go to Denver and see you then too!!!
I would really love to hang out. We'll see what the next few weeks bring. But you can probably bet I will be out there at least once this summer.

Good morning everyone.
Last night was SO FUN!!!!!!!!! It was great to see Gary again. He made me laugh the whole night, which I needed. He is headed back to NC, but hopefully when Terry gets home we can go see them. That would be so fun!
I did a bunch of yeard work this morning. Picked up dog mess, pulled weeds, watered, and planted some flower seeds! Woooo Hoooo! Now Ry and I are going to have an early lunch then I am going to a friend's hosue to help her take down an old swing set and put a new one up. I'm already tired and it isn't even 11 yet.
So, you all were so chatty! I don't even know where to begin. I hope you all have a beautiful Friday afternoon!

Oh, and I still have that Coach waist bag if anyone wants it. Standard black leather. It's nice but it has sat in my closet for 2 years now. I obviously don't need it anymore. Any takers?
