I am debating about getting me a AP when I go in Nov. We will be going back in Oct 08 for the cruise and will probably spend a few days at the parks too. Do I have to use the tickets up first and then buy the AP or buy my AP first and use it then? I hope that made sense!

It depends on if you have no expiration on the tickets or not. :) If you don't, then you have to use them within 14days of first using them. OR if you don't use them at all, then they are good forever :)

DMM - I dont like Chance. Although they gave me a nice size samply one time of that, in a rolly-ball type dispenser! I emptied it, soaked it in alcohol and filled it with another perfume!

 I actually like it better than the Juicy!

Another Sample i just smelled right now is the Tommy Bahama and its nice and citrusy! my fave!!! :) DH likes that a lot ::yes:: It has a nice summer feel to it!

I LOVE TB! I found a bottle of it with 2 soaps at Marshalls on clearance for like $15.00! SCORE! :thumbsup2

I am feeling better today, thank goodness. Not my total self, but I am greatful that I don't feel like warmed over dog poo anymore. ;)
Heads up... Target has some CUTE Easter stuff. In their dollar section they have POtC lanyards and little fabric bags. I picked one up for Ry's basket!

PJ--Congrats on that great test score!!!

We just got back from the King of Prussia mall. Bought a bunch of clothes for DD. We NEVER buy clothes for her. She always uses hand-me-downs or gifts, so its nice to pick out new outfits for once.

Morning all!
I have been fighting the sickness for the past few days. I honestly feel pretty crappy today. blah.We tried Le Cellier and I wasn't blown away by it. We had lunch there, and I think I would like to try dinner just once to see how it compares.

First, sorry you were feeling like warm dog doo! Second, YES! try LeCellier for DINNER. We went for lunch (when we were paying) and it SU-you know what-ed-then the past two years we have gone for dinner on free dining and it has been absolutely FAB!!!!

You know the ones where the top half will only open or the bottom half?? i totally want one! hahah! anyone have one??

When I moved into my house there was one of these between the kitchen and dining room... we ripped it out.

UGH!

WHY CANT I WIN THE FREAKING LOTTERY?!?!?!?

I hate working. :guilty:

Because if you won the lottery you wouldn't have time for US!

ohh no!! i hope your pain gets better! are you going to the doc??

I did not go to the doc. My friend put an icy/hot patch on me, and DH went out and bought icy/hot rub and did that for me. (i sent him out for doans pills!!!! but that's what he came home with) It felt like my skin was burning off!!!! I said, if this is what hell is like all over your body, we need to repent, repent, repent!!!! BUT, the next morning I woke just stiff, no more excrutiating pain!

Jul at the wonderland tea party at GF:
wonderland.jpg

I have never seen this tea party, could you tell us about it? I thought I read something once, but haven't ever seen it.

Uh, yeah. Right. Or is this like my brother being the oldest sibling because HE decided he is? I mean, I feel relatively safe speaking for the 'life-experienced' among us by saying: You are WELCOME to be the old lady here. We'll claim to be younger than you ;)

Yeah, you can do that, because I sure feel lots older;) Oh, and does anyone else think it funny that CR would be my MOTHER- in -law, but I would bbe a year and a half OLDER than her???? I think that is hillarious! (oh, and oof course she looks WAY younger than me!)

Have I asked you before where in MA you are????

Well peeps i've fallen in love with another perfume!! Last night i was Chanced! YUP! DH got me a small bottle of Chanel Chance and they gave him a bunch of samples of other perfumes and such with the sample! It was pretty neat! it smells like heaven! Today i'm wearing Juicy, but i'm thinking i will def. wear the Chanel for brunch tomorrow! and one of the samples was a Chanel Chance lotion and it smells DIVINE! so i need the matching lotion too!! :)

My sister in law wore that on her wedding to my brother. I thought the name of the perfume was hillarious...

Ohhhh perfume shopping. I need a few new scents for spring/summer! I should probably go up to the PX because they are so much cheaper there and NO TAX! I love some of our benefits.
Today I plan on doing nothing. Maybe a load or two of laundry. That's pretty much it.
I will talk to you all in a bit!

I am such an oldie! I still wear Perry Elllis 360 and Jessica McKlintock... and once in awhile, does anyone remember Camp Beverly Hills???? I have a bottle of that I have been nursing since College! I really miss the old sunshine one that Bath and Body Works used to have. I also have Candies. YUP, just a dork from the 80's over here! (loved the smell of Aqua Net too!)

ANTSSS - Man, busy weekends suck ****!

Ummmm....thats all. I gotta take Danny to the airport tonight. He's going to see his Dad in Florida. Joey didnt wanna go.:confused3 Teenagers are freaking weirdo's.

Free trip to FLA and he turns it down???? That is ODD!!!! I would kill for some warmth... well not kill, then I would go to hell, and we all know how I feel about burning flesh;) It is snowing here!

Antss: we will miss you for the next 48 hours. Take care!

I LOVE TB! I found a bottle of it with 2 soaps at Marshalls on clearance for like $15.00! SCORE! :thumbsup2

That is AWESOME!!!! My 360 is now only sold at Marshalls and TJMaxx... I don't know what I will do when they run out! Ebay I guess! My mom still buys perfume from LONG ago that has LONG since been discontinued on EBAY... her mother used to wear it.

OK, so am I the only one that doesn't have a trip planned now????? As DD would say "oily ve" Is it me and PJ???? but at least he has his ideas set on when he can go!

Go Diego Live was okay today. A little on the short side. But then again, I am used to the ice shows that disney does, not the stage shows, so i don't know how long a kids thing should be. i guess it was perfect because there were no cranky kids!

We went to Not Your Average Joes today and I had THE BEST STEAK!!! It was marinated in Soy and Lime juice, topped with pico de gallo, and served over jasmine rice SOOOOO GOOD! I am going to try to re-create it at home!

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled weekend! Hope you all are having a great time... and that Antss will return soon!

Hi gang,

Whats doing?? Do not, i repeat do not buy disney annunal passes!!! We bought disney Ap's in 2005, what a mistake!! We were forced to go on 3 trips to disney, it was horrible!!! Ok that was sarcasm!!! I figured out that disney Ap's come out to the price of a 14 day park hopper ticket, so if you plan on going to the parks for more than 14 days in one year, then they are worth it!! Remember you can buy them at any time they do not activate until you walk thru the gates at any disney park. So once you step foot in the park and use them the first time then there good for 1 year from that date.

You also get other perks as well, we ate at the rain forest in animal kingdom and found out if you show them your Ap's you get either 10 or 15% off your bill. You get discounts for mini golf and disney shopping in the parks only(does not work at the disney shopping website) There are a ton of other perks, you'll have to look around to find out what they are, since my memory is shot to nothing from all the reading and studing i've been doing.

One thing thru this rescue class i found out, which i had no idea that we do alot. If you have side door airbags and you use a slim jim(a thin piece of metal used to unlock the cars locking system,so the doors can be opened)Say you lock yourself out of your car and your child is locked inside with the keys in the car. Well people used to call 911,thats where we would slim jim your window and get your car to unlock,by clicking the locking device in the door's body, between the door. Well if you hit the airbag sensor instead of the lock hinge, the airbags will deploy and your end up with the slim jim in your face or in your hand. The air bag deploys at like 500mph,so the force with shoot the slim jim into your face or into your hand very badly. One FDNy guy in the bronx ended up with over 300 stiches and 3 hours of nuro surgery, after the slim jim ended up inbedded in his face and skull. He'll be fine, just a warning of something new i learned in school.

BTW i will try to find the perks of having a disney AP for you guys and post it here.

Yeah - The AP perks are phenomenal! :thumbsup2

Im SO AP'n this time around!

Ok PJ, the whole slim jim through my hand or head thing wigged me out just a tad. But that's good to know... leave it to the pros! :thumbsup2

Colleen- The whole perfume thing. Too funny. I have a VERY dear friend who is all about the 80's too. Although thank god she doesn't do the fluff chick hair thing. :rotfl: But I adore her, so you remind me of her!

I just watched "The Holiday". If you have nto seen it yet and need a good romantic comedy... go rent it! I LOVED it! Boy with Terry being gone, I am getting to see all kidns of movies that are to my liking. There are not many movies we agree on. The other movie that YOU MUST SEE is the Prestige. SO SO SO GOOD!

K, I am off to do some surfing before bed.

Me: :cloud9:

PJ, Thank you for the info!!!!!! :cutie: You are awesome.

Patsfan, That pic of Jul was the Wonderland Tea Party. The kid have a tea party (GF) and meet Alice and the Mad Hatter. Jul had fun. Do NOT confuse it with the Disney My Girl Tea Party, which is $200. This one was like $25. The parents don't stay. They gave us pagers and Sean and I wandered around GF. It is like an hour.

So I could buy the APs now and they will not be activated yet? Do I have to tell them that? Cat, did you buy yours yet?

Also, I inquired about AAA b/c I thought we could use those room discounts if we are traveling when there are no AP discounts (november). We are now thinking of checking in on Nov. 25 instead of 23 b/c value season starts that day. Can anyone find last years AP discount dates so I could see if they had Nov/Dec ones? Thanks.

Go Diego Live was okay today. A little on the short side. But then again, I am used to the ice shows that disney does, not the stage shows, so i don't know how long a kids thing should be. i guess it was perfect because there were no cranky kids!

I've been looking if anyone went to this! Was Dora in it at all?? autumn wanted to see it so bad, but she just isn't into Diego that much!

If you order them from WDW or something like that, don't think the DS sells them anymore, but they might. They DO NOT come activated. The activation begins the first day you walk through the turnstiles with them.

Also, I inquired about AAA b/c I thought we could use those room discounts if we are traveling when there are no AP discounts (november).

That is why we got AAA and the package through them was about 100$ more than DIsney for some reason!

======

Well i'm super super super excited one of my best friends is working for Disney and :woohoo: he just called to see how i was doing and if i needed the discount for this trip (50%) and i was like waaahhh i paid already

Morning everyone  I'm off to brunch with my parents!! i'm not looking forward to it right now as i feel blahhhh and this is an ultra fancy place! If Autumn was any more dressed up she would be going to the Prom!!! :lmao: and Gabriel has a little Tuxedo on!! soo funny!! Gotta run!!

Have fun DMM!!!

I didn't want to book THROUGH AAA, just use them for a room discount. You know how they ask if you have AAA at the desk?

Morning everyone!!

I've been looking if anyone went to this! Was Dora in it at all?? autumn wanted to see it so bad, but she just isn't into Diego that much!

Yes, Dora made two appearances. They were both in the second act. That was ok with my DD as she is 5 and could understand that Dora was coming later and had the patience to wait. We also had a two year old with us, and he was jonesing for Dora. He didn't act out or anything, but he REALLY wanted to see Dora... they mentioned right before intermission that Diego's cousin would be coming, and it took like ten minutes into the second act for her to appear.

Morning everyone  I'm off to brunch with my parents!! i'm not looking forward to it right now as i feel blahhhh and this is an ultra fancy place! If Autumn was any more dressed up she would be going to the Prom!!! :lmao: and Gabriel has a little Tuxedo on!! soo funny!! Gotta run!!

Take and share pics!!!!

Morning everyone!!

I have used AAA discount before. It kind of equals the tax, (at least at the value's). Like, when I used it, the rack rate was $77 plus tax for POP. With AAA it was $77 inclusive of taxes. I have been booking through Dreams Unlimited for three or four years now, so I don't remember if Disney asks for your AAA number when booking, but DU definately does. I have never been asked for my AAA card at the desk, but the reservation does say to have it with you, or your rate will be reverted back to rack.
