haha! i used to not do anything! cook, clean, you name it! Then as the kids came i became maternal and i'm slowly learning how to do things it's getting fun now! And DH always does the after dinner dishes! so i can handle it even better hahahaah!

I had to go to work for a few hours, we were off because we had some ice, but I had some work that needed to get done. I'm sure all of ya'll up there are laughing at us Houstonians, just a little bit of ice and we freak out!!! I'm sure this is nothing to ya'll.

Hi guys,
Well i got to run to the fire house for a shift this evening.Funny thing happened today,I go to the car place by me every 3 months and let them do the oil change on my car.So i get there and the guys id doing the oil,so he says...
Mech- you need brakes,when was the last time you change them

me- i did'nt you did 3 months ago and it came with a 6 month pad warrenty,so i get them for free right?

Mech-you need a tune up as well,

me-oh good,you did the last one 3 months ago as well and that came with a 6 month garentee as well,so i get that for free as well.

mech,also one of your belts is loose and looks worn,it will need to be changed too.

Me- oh goody you did that 8 months ago and that came with a 1 year warrenty,so thats for free too, yay for me.

Me to the mech-This is why i come here,cause you guys are so honest,no other place would have just given me new brakes,a oil change,a tune up and a new belt all for 25 bucks. Thanks guys.

So i was there like 3 hours instead of the 10 minute oil change, I keep all and any car/auto warrenty or garentee in my glove box,soon as i pulled them all out, this guy knew he had no choice but to honor them. I Do feel bad, however cause i know this new guy was trying to rip me off, someone else might have fell for it and left a 25$ oil change with a 400$ bill.Not to worry i called a good friend and a co-worker, the FDNY fire marshalls will be stopping by without notice to do a random inspection tomorrow.I also don't think i will be going back there ever again.I swear i left this place laughing.

I feel like a big F'n baby. I never get sick like this, constantly - like I have this whole season.

Im a perfect example of "stress will make you physically ill, too" cuz since my mom died, Im a worry-wart.

(lots and lots and LOTS of swear words!!!)

The thought of (swear) flying with a (swear) ear ache and (swear) sinus infections is making me FREAK OUT!

Wait until we do have the Chicago meet - youll see what all the (swears) are!!! Unless of course Im (swear) sick!!!

why?? because i went to bed at like 2am and my kids were AWFUL! they kept having nightmares and i knew DH had to be up soon, i took care of them and i FINALLY got to sleep at about 5am and now here I am wide awake! and the kiddies are still in bed! go figure!

So, I went to the hardware store. Which is exactly what you would picture for a small town. The sweet man sold me glue traps and I set them out there. We'll see. But I have to go out there about 6 more times before DH comes home and I don't want to!!! Paranoia!

not to freak you out more.. what happens then the mouse get stuck on the glue ???
