not cheesy at all.... you really have to make every second count and this will be remembered not only by you but your kids when they are much older and get to appreciate life more...

BTW good morning Poppers... I trully am asking all you positive prayers and thoughts.... I had my pelvic ultra sound Friday. I thought I can face the weekend calmly but honestly I am on pins and needle . I have been telling myself it will be negative since I have been doing the GYN thing regularly (sorry PJ had to explain this part) and this should be negative but the face of the ULTRA SOUND TECH does not look like it was negative. Then after the procedure she explained the the Raidologist will come in and talk to me and I can ask all the question I have. Well she came back asked me to get dressed and told me to go on my merry way and I will here from my primary dr either Monday or Tuesday which gave me a more panicky feeling. So hence the cooking and cleaning to kept my brain active and busy. Sorry to post a downer. But can't discuss this with anybody at home or else they will just bug me and worry me more to death.

Well I hope we all have a good week ahead of us!

For those of you with kids...has any of them had a wierd thing with pimples on their face? DD has like 7 pimples on her face and one on her hand, no where else. They look just like pimples. I thought maybe impentigo, but they look nothing like that. She also has a runny nose. Another girl in the daycare recently had pimples too and we thought it was so odd, but didn't send her home or anything.

DH got a promotion - Hooray. He also had an interview for a project that would put him in Tampa for a few months. Hmmm - we wouldn't move with him but I am *sure* I woulld miss him way too much. Any excuse to visit Florida - huh ?

Are they white? Ryan gets those too. There is a medical term, but they are also known as sweat bumps. I asked the doctor about them when Ry went in for his sport's appt and he said not to worry about them. Ry used to get them when he was a baby too. I would not worry about it unless you see them spreading!

CONGRATS to you and your hubby. I used to live in Clearwater which is across the bridge from Tampa. I love that area. GREAT place to visit.. wink wink nudge nudge.
Nope, he isn't here yet. He will be home on WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! He gets to go play in the gas chamber tomorrow. Today he got to play with grapple hooks and wires and stuff. He said he did one simulation that was like a 3 million dollar video game. I told him NOT to mention it to Ryan because he would look for a loop hole that allowed him to join at nine!

I never shop on black Friday. Am I weird? I can't imagine getting up early (I am not a morning gal) to go fight with people (which I am not really fond of either) over a toy that is reduced by a couple of bucks. Call me crazy but I don't get the appeal. Although I did see a TV on sale that I liked, but Terry's pay is STILL jacked up, so I probably won't be able to get it. Oh well. Maybe another time!

Have any of you ever been to WDW in November? After Thanksgiving and into the first week of Dec?
My best friend is going next year at that time, and I am thinking about tagging along with her. I have heard it is slow, but I need first hand knowledge from my fellow POOPers.
Also I stayed at All Star Music one time , but I don't rememebr the bus system. Is it better or worse than POP's?

Hiya POPpers! well i have had nothing but insanity and craziness the past few days and i am soo happy i have you all! thanks fopr worrying about me and thanks to those that called i am home now, but i have more stuff to do!

Long story short:

We were about 1 hr away from home on wed. (DH had mon-wed off) and we were christmas shopping for family members and picking out our new furniture (which we got!) well as we are ready to head home with 2 cranky kids.....

our van won't start!! AT ALL!

remember the probs we had b4 WDW?? well that was all supposed to be fixed!!


guess NOT!

Soo days of anger/frustration/$$$ and all that later, we get the van back from where we had ti towed......and it DIES OUT on the way HOME!!!!!!!



This guy claims he fixed it, but it's not working!?!?!?


sooooo.....we find out tomorrow! DH ended up taking all last week off and now tomorrow

I'm hoping it's fixed, but well you know...

It's only my around town vehicle, so it's not that big of a deal, but it's our VAN! haha! i love the space!@ oh well maybe DH will cave in and just get me a new one!!!

Tia, that time of year is the best to go! it's our fave and we can't wait to start going back at that time! we got distracted with the wedding and then we wanted to try MNSSHP, then free dining came out and now we want to spend Christmas there and do MVMCP and the cruise...sooooo there is 2008 for us to go back to our normal last week of November trip

DMM: Thank you so much for checking in! I was sooo worried about you! And I missed you! Glad you are all fine and hope your van turns out okay.

We had a great weekend. Went to my parents yesterday and had a blast. Today I am going to just do stuff around the house. I need to hit the post office. Tomorrow I pack, pack, pack and clean, clean, clean. THEN Wednesday we wake up DD and surprise her! Wednesday morn bright and early we head off to WDW!!!!! I really wish it was Tuesday morning right now!!

I am patiently waiting for the call of my primary today. i have been up since I dont know when... for the result of the ultra sound. I just hope if there's anything there that it can be cured with meds and no going under the knife

Call me crazy but I don't get the appeal.

Me and sister don't really shop. Now this is really the crazy part! We gather some friends and family bring our nice 20 oz coffee mugs and parked at the farthest part of the parking lot. And with our camera we wait and watch! It is hilarious ! We pose for a picture op with the long lines as our back ground. We checked out other places too and then at around 9AM we head to "charcoal pit" the one place we go for homemade as big as your 8 inch plate burger then go home.

Before we did Pop we always stay at ASMu and love it, I did not have any problem with the bus but we always go on the off season then like january or end of October so the most I think we have to wait is going back to the resort from the parks.

MIchelle - thank God you posted today! I think we were all gonna start driving to Rockford if you didn't! That stinks about the van! Ihate it when your car starts to have problems...you start to wonder...do I fix it? do I trade it? blah blah blah...We always seem to wait...just a little tooooo long & then we end up having to fix it AND get rid of it!

Timmy - Hope the call comes early & goes well

I LOVE black Friday shopping!!! Have been doing it with one of my friends since we could drive! Although this year, I have no clue where we're going yet...nothing is on that "have to have" list for either one of us! We get up at 3am & hit the pavement by 3:30!!! It's sooooooooooooo fun! We're shop till 10 or 11, go to someplace we love for b'fast...& then we're home by noon!

julsmom - OMG how can you have a "easy day" YOU'RE GOING TO DISNEY!!!! Surprising the girls was SO much fun! Ihope your dd is as freaked as mine were!!!

msslaydbug: yeah for dh!!! Sounds like a perfect place to "visit"! hahah

Yesterday I put together little 'holiday season' gift bags. One for each of us. It kind of kicks off the holiday. For example, in mom's I put a christmas kitchen towel, caramel candies (her fave) & an ornament DD decorated. Fun! We are a little bit of a cheesy family.

. :Today Im headed downtown to go to the Magnificent Mile festival of lights parade....featuring..... MICKEY MOUSE!! [!



How was the parade? I went last year & LOVED It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had our basment is done party on Saturday..otherwise I so would have been there!

We had 35 people here on Saturday night...whew! I told dh we already need a bigger bar & we just built the one we have! It was fun though..

Today I have youngest dd's parent/teacher conferences. The kids are off from school all weel. I'm going to my spin class in an hour, oldest dd is going to babysit her sister (we'll see how that goes). Then I've got to go grocery shopping and actually BUY the turkey we're going to cook!!!!
