POP'ers who have bonded - (new home!)

Rebecca - I agree. I look around and see nothing but a house filled with junk we dont need.

We're going to be scaling back this year.

On another note (feel sorry for me) I'm getting sick. :sad1: My throat hurts - my head is pounding. I feel like butt. :sad1:

I hate being sick. :sad1:

Hey everyone - Rebecca the vicks tissue has to be the best gift I've ever heard!!! I love it!

Tia - Yep they have Coldstone, but not Target...I'm pretty sure that Target isn't part of it because they do so much charity stuff themselves. I'llbe placing an order on Friday so let me know if you want some.

Cat - phoey hope you're not sick!

It's snowing....really snowing...for the first time this year...not bad for Nov 30th...

I'm just about done shopping too...need to find a few more things. My mom loves those photo purses...you know the cheesy plastic sleeve ones? I've bought her so many before, but she really needs a new one....& I can't seem to find one...so I'm searching....

Home and not too thrilled! hahah!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this visit to Frankenmuth! We found some new great hotels to stay at and the food was delightful!

Marv Herzog hotel, was AWESOME! Rooms are about the size of a mod at Disney World.
http://www.marvherzog.com/index.php?main_page=hotel
Definately check it out if you like:
Breakfast in the morning
free drinks in the evening
Romantic places
Blaconies overlooking the water or the main strip (the only 2 rooms you can get).
LUXURIOUS bedding!!

If you want a more family fun and very exciting place check out the Bavarian Inn.

LARGE ROOMS!
GREAT sized balconies and super friendly staff! I will answer any other questions you all may have, but for now we're off to the Zendhers marketplace for a little pastry for breakfast!

Rooms the size of a Deluxe if not bigger, we also got 2 of them with the adjoining door, just to have a lot of space!

Dinner at OMAs was fabulous! I liked it even more than our Thanksgiving Dinner at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant! haha!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!

Morning everyone again, here are some photos from Frankenmuth, we are trying to plan our next trip there! The looong weekends are always the best!

The Bavarian Inn is HUGE, but it's very walkable and for us was perfect since we were right by an elevator that went down to the family fun center! Restaurants were only about a 5 minute walk from the room too. Front desk was about a 7 minute walk :) We did an internet rate of 189.00 I believe for each room. We had an awesome water view room that overlooked a river of sorts. So pretty! The funny thing is at the Herzog hotel we also had a waterview room and I could see our location at the Bavarian from that room! I have balcony shots somewhere of each room! I'm sloooowly uploading and will probably just do one blog post about the trip :)

One Room at the Bavarian
Between the beds and the balcony there was enough room for Gabriel, Autumn and Roman to play with their Thomas the Train set that was set in a figure 8 layout and they were laying on their bellies. On the right was the adjoining door, fridge, desk, another arm chair and wide dresser with television. Behind me was a large closet (set up POP century style) Tiny bathroom (bath tub took up 90% of the space) and then the vanity and coffee maker were on the outside.

View from our carriage ride. This was the carriage ride right outside of the Bavarian Inn, they charge PER PASSENGER and it was a 20 minute ride. They are black carriages. The WHITE carriages across the street in the Zhenders Training Facility parking lot only charge per carriage, are much nicer AND a longer ride (35min)with a better view. We wish we would have done 2 white carriage rides instead of one of each. The white one was 60.00 for us with a tip and I believe the Black one was 50.00 with a tip.

Sounds like fin Michelle! Exactly where the heck is it ?????????

& btw, LOVE those earring in your siggie...gotta have them........I'll be visiting "charmworld" now.....

Hahaha thanks Chris!

Frankenmuth is about 6 hours from me in Rockford, BUT i'm all highway. It could be closer from you if you are on the highway too.

It's about an hour north west of detroit. The trip is super easy though, I think it was a total of like 5 exits if that! hahaha!! It's all straight driving and actually pretty boring. It's an amazing little Bavarian Town type of thing.

Frankenmuth.com I believe is the site. Lots to do, especially if you stay in one of the resorts. We're going to try Zhenders next time.

Oh and it also has the LARGEST CHRISTMAS STORE IN THE WORLD! it's the main reason we go! heehee!!

If anyone here knows my blog link please head over there and on the left hand column you will see one of mylego bracelets at the top, just click on it and vote for me in the holiday challenge please! THanks so much!

Still in the lead! But only by 11 votes!!! I'll get DH to vote too.

I'm watching the weather forecast for tomorrow. I checked NWS, weather channel and accuweather. One says .20 of ice. One says rain all day and 3-5 inches of snow at night, and the other says mix and an inch of snow. Guess I'll wait and see.

I watched a comedian one time, years ago - and he said that being a weather man is the only job you're allowed to be wrong, like all the time, and keep your job.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I feel awful. I'm all achy and tired. I have a cold. I wish someone could come over and take these kids so I can pop a movie in my imaginary DVD player in our bedroom and sleep. I'll probably do the next best thing and take a power nap while they're napping.
