Happy New Year Poppers!!!! (seems weird to STILL be calling us that?).....

I spent the day yesterday scrappin! I'm finally done with our 2007 WDW trip....now I need to catch up a little in the girls albums before moving on to my DL & Club 33 trip....

Anyone have any resolutions? I guess I have a few....I had been doing soooo good staying healthy and getting in shape...& then when my mom got sick last year it just all fell apart...I need to get back to the gym...not to just lose weight (although that is a plus)...but to get healthy....my lupus flares up big time when I'm not taking care of myself...which makes me not want to work out..which makes it flare up more...etc etc etc etc....

I also resolve to go easier on myself! - that's a funny resolutuion huh? I think I spend so much time mentally beating myself up that it's just not good for the psyche! Need to take some time for me....which leads me to...Guess what I did? WHile we're at WDW in March....Grace is going to do the Pirate Cruise out of the GF..& I booked a 1 hr massage at the spa! Never even thought of relaxing at WDW before....it's expensive....$150 but I'm going to use one of the $200 gift cards to pay for her cruise & my massage.

So, today the girls have dentist appointments...& then we're gonna start taking down some of the decorations....I won't take down the tree until they're at school on Monday.....

Think I may drag out my old weight watchers cookbooks & stuff & see if I can follow that for a few months...I'd like to get a jump start on the weight thing...if I can lose 15-20 pounds by the time we go to WDW in march, I'll be happy....it's 75 days away so really that's under 2lbs a week...a pretty safe goal if I can stop eating crap!!!!

I dont make plans like that, so it's hard for me to tell you.

I choose the 'least crowded day' park - make an ADR for it, and just kind play with that. KWIM?

I even made an ADR this next trip, that I am kinda baffled with. I think I might do something else with it - cuz it's not making sense with the other days.

DId you check your days against least crowded park days? Want me to check that for you?

yea I did...BUT some of the days that I HAVE to be somewhere aren't "good days" - Like my DS day, and one of the MK days...but at DS, it's the only way to get Casey to her band director, and the MK day, the band is performing.....

I do it the same way you do.....but this trip is just weird......I'm so used to one day per park, one day extra for epcot, and one crazy all 4 day...that's our typical trip....the whole discovery cove and resort day and getting a massage! are throwing me off track!

No, I understand. Them not having Fantasmic every night is throwing me for a HUGE loop. Just huge. Even though its currently listed as an okay day to visit the park, I cant imagine (just like EMH's) that it isnt going to increase crowds (lots of people dont hop.... I prefer not to hop) So now - I have to hop all over the stinking place ....

3/21 - 8:00am 1900 Park Faire Breakfast
head over to DS for remainder of day - (oldest DD's band will be picking her up from DS at 7pm).
6pm Prime Time ADR

DS is shown as the park to avoid this day. Can you go somewhere else until she needs to get picked up?

3/22 (just me & youngest DD - oldest at BB & DTD)
Akershus ADR 8:15 am
spend morning in Future World
Head over to MK for afternoon/evening - spectro/wishes

Looks fine.

3/23 (band is at EPCOT all day & performing)
Epcot at rope drop
Epcot all day/night - end w/ Illuminations

Looks fine.



3/24 (band performing at MK)
MK at rope drop
CP ADR 5:30 pm
stay until we want to leave (no spectro this night)

3/25 (band is going to Cocoa beach today)
youngest dd & I to Grand floridian - Pirate Cruise for her & Massage for me


This sounds like a fun day!

Then to Disney Studios for remainder of day

3/26 (oldest dd rejoins us & friends arrive night before)
ALL at AK for 8:30 ADR Tuskar House
Spend day at AK
Head over to DS once AK closes/only night to see Fantasmic

3/27 Discovery Cove Day
Luau at the Poly 8pm seating

3/28 Stay ar resort most of the day (AKL)
ADR Boma 9am
Head over to Epcot for evening (Countries only)

Why are you staying at the resort? I dunno.... I'm not a big hang out at the resort all day person. How about DtD? You dont have any downtown day.

3/29 - This is our crack of dawn 4 parks day - we do it every time - crazy day, but we start at AK (ride Everest), go to DS (ride TOT, RNR), to Epcot (ride TT & MS & Soarin if possible), then to MK for the Mountains). ADR at California Grill at 8:30.

Woo Hoo!!!

3/30 CRT 8:30 am - MK all day

Looks fine.

3/31 - Chef Mickey's 9am, then hit a park before leaving at 5

So I see our sad little thread is dying a slow death. I think it is time to revive it!!!
Let's see... Cliff Note's update.
Went to Ohio in Dec for SIL's wedding. Got stuck due to weather. Finally got out. They flew us into Dulles and we got put on a majorly overbooked flight. Took their deal of free tickets and stayed there a night. Spent the next day in DC which was a dream come true for me. I am a big ol nerd and love history and old buildings. *sigh* It was heaven.
Ry goes back to school on Monday and I am hearing up to st rt school on the 20th!! Terry is being deployed again so we are enjoying some quiet time around the house. I am opening an Etsy shop soon which I am excited about. All in all life is good.
I swore off Disney for awhile and then they have to go and come out with that darn military deal. And it is screaming my name. I WANTED to go THIS month... but the finances are just not in order.
Anyway, I hope you all are well!

I thought about going somewhere else & just taking a dang taxi over to the band hotel that night to check her in.....I may just do that....I'd much rather spend my first day at MK - you know - our tradition of riding Space first and eating at Casey's......

Oh man! YOU MUST GO TO DC!!!! I felt like we were literally running all day, but we had a lot to see in a very short amount of time. It is an amazing city. Beautiful beyond what I could have imagined!! Even the Starbucks down the street from the Capitol building was cozy and quaint. I would love to go back and stay longer. Like a week or so. You have to go! i believe Adventures by Disney goes there. So it could be Disney-ish! Check my blog. I posted pics from the day.

hi gang,

Whats doing?? Well it seems i have been adopted, by a cat. Some time last week, a black and white cat made my fire house his home. I noticed him walking around on the floor where we park all the rigs. Being the softee i am, i began to feed him. He was so skinny and looked to be starving. Plus temps here where in the teens with wind chills near zero. It seems no one can pet or get near this cat, but me. He follows me around the fire house and meows. Plus he is a great bug hunter.

I named him oreo. I really have fallen for this little guy. we actually had a run/ 911 call for the local petco where it was reported a gas leak in the basement with someone overcome by the fumes. We get there and it appears to be a prank call, after a small investergation we are unable to find anything. So since i was there we bought him a few cat play toys and some treats and a case 70 cans of cat food. He looked at the fake play mouse and had no intrest in it.

This cat has got it made! The floor where we park the rigs is heated, he has a bed we made him complete with a FDNY blanket and i feed him during the day and one of the other guys feeds him on the overnights.




So we are thinking of taking a small trip to disney sometime in feb, maybe 5 or 6 days. Surprising airfare is dirt cheap for the time we are looking at. Maybe feb 18 to 25. Not sure yet, we will have to wait and see.

I was SHOCKED at my airfare...on AMERICAN (not UNited Tia!)...for the 3 of us during spring break $549 - of course I forgot about the $15 checked bag fee & there is no way Miss Teenager is going to Disney with all those band boys and not have her hair "necessities" hahahah
