Historical, yes. Amazing..not so much. Well, in my opinion anyway. I was in tears too. I feel uneasy about what is to come. Time will tell. I hope Obama lives up to his promises. (well some of them.)

My biggest issue with the campaign was the abortion issue. It seems silly that that was the biggest reason I vote McCain, but I can't get past it.

Remember the 16.99% raise the city offered us?? This was on my union website this morning. copy and pasted.

26108 Ballots Mailed
1843 Ballots Returned
1703 Yea
138 Nay
17 Void

The contract is ratified.

We are already trying to get pay dates.

But still i'm a litlte upset, i did vote yes for this contract. But see where it says 26,108 ballots mailed out? Only about 1,840 people voted out of 26,108. So many people choose not be involved in the union, its sad.

My co-worker that needed brain surgery.
He went into surgery at 4:30pm yesterday and came out around 11 pm, last i heard he is doing fine and resting and in very little pain only. The doctors said they got all of the growth.

Abortion Issue - I'm pro-choice, however Obama's stance on LATE TERM pregnancy termination is (IMO) gross. So, Im with you on that.

And feeling sick - isnt feeling sick a 'good' sign though??? I thought the more hormones your body produced, the sicker you'd feel.

I was sicker than a dog - both boys.

Yup. I can't imagine anyone being ok with late term abortions. Like Cat, I am pro choice. Pro life for myslef however. But anhything past the 1st trimester is beyond nuts. I am shocked at anyone who can support that.
back at ya. These are scary times and putting someone as liberal as Obama in the White House makes them even scarier. I DO NOT TRUST this man to lead my husband into war. UGH!!!! Makes me want to cry again. I will say a prayer for your husband as well.

Well if WDW is hurting...I hope it hurts more!!!! ok, only half kidding...

I just changed my trip around a bit...for March...we're staying at POP the first 4 nights, and then moving over to AKL Club level for SEVEN NIGHTS !!!! I had orginally had POP for 8 nights and AKL Club levelf or 3 as a surprise...but even with the changing around I'm still saving $236 AND getting the $200 gift card!!!! The girls are gonna flip...Grace will be thrilled that we still get to stay at POP, (& me too, I really do love it).....I currently do have the dining plan for all 11 nights...I might change that though... & only get it while we're at AKL....we'd like to try a few different places on top of our regulars.....here's my thoughts...Although I don't have my flights yet...SW just released today, so I know I need to book

3/19 - arrival probably late

Chris--We did the Fantasmic dinner package with Mama Melrose on our honeymoon--6 years ago. The food was okay, but nothing special. We didn't eat there again because it seemed just like the food we could get cheaper at home. AND, we found the seats for general admission were better than the package seats, but this was October.

thanks for the tips on Mama Melrose...kept putting it in there & taking itout...it's one of the nights that it's just me & GRace. Casey is at Blizzard beach & DTD that day with band..I think I may just skip it and maybe eat at 50's Prime instead - I'm pretty sure Grace & I can get seats for the 2 of us at Fantasmic. I'm telling ya, figureing out the dining plan with Casey being on the band trip is a nightmare! I have her included in our ressie because I'm not purchasing the hopper/dining card from the band trip TA but she'll have her KTTK card from me with her hoppers, dining and EEEK charging priv. on it...It's her chance to prove that she really is a responsible kid. She has her spending limits that we'll come up with before we leave...but I don't want her to be at DTD or somewhere & see something she wants & be hungry &not have enough money with her...kwim? She'll be using the counter service credits not the TS so I'lljust have to make sure I keep track of it.

Part of me thinks, I should have taken the savings & stayed 8 nights at POP & stuck with my 3 at AKL..but serioiusly how could I? even with switching I still save over $200 plus get the gift card - This is still going to be such an expensive trip...I'm not used to a $5k trip...I'm used to a under $2k trip! Airfare is gonna kill me this time, I don't think I'm gonna find it for less than $355 round trip..

Whats doing???? How's everyone doing?? We been very busy in the FDNY, not sure why. Yesterday and the day before we never made it back to the fire house. Soon as we left on one run, it was another run after run after run. Someone had the nerve to call 911 and report a fire, we get there. Guess what no fire and he had the nerve to tell us he just called because he needed some help moving his couch from the basement to the top floor. He thought we would love to help him.

So after the NYPD gave him his $1000 summons for falsely reporting a fire, he had the nerve to be mad at us. He even called us a few names, i mean the nerve of us, not running to his becking call for help. I swear some people have no clue.

Guess what?? I'm going to atlantic city tonight, i swear if i hit for millions i'll buy everyone one annunal pass.maybe one for each of your family. So send pixie dust my why, pleaese.

So our guy matt, who had the brain surgery is home and resting and doing well. The biopsy report listed it as a cyst, so theres no worry of cancer and with a little time off should be returning to work in a month or so. I really love this guy like a brother and was very worried about him. He's a good guy, i'm glad he will be ok.

We liked it too - they have this roasted garlic for spreading on bread and such. MAN! I must have stunk to the high heavens that day, but dang it was gooooood! I always get their eggplant and love it ( and cant say the same about Tony's - blech)
