POP'ers who have bonded - (new home!)

uh...nope probobly not!!!! How old is it?

The dog is between 2-3yrs so say the vet/animal rescue people. He was a stray, and my friend had taken him in. She called animal control, and they had him in a kennel for ten days. Another couple went to the kennel and picked him up before i could get there.... so they had him for a couple of days, and he was escaping all the time, so I got a call and was asked if we were still interested. We went to meet him, and the kids liked him... but he didnt peep or poop in those people's house! See, I think he only knows to go outside when being walked... we have a fenced in yard, so I want him to just go out there, and he WON'T I just can't stand the stench, the picking up after him, and have NOT fallen in love with him, so its probably best to say adios!

ETA: he's not fixed yet... does anyone know if that will make a difference in his behaviour?

Im suprised the shelter adopted him out being unfixed.

It could. If he's mostly pee-ing (no poopies) he's just marking, and yeah - that could stop it.

Yep, I agree with Cat - If he's just "marking" his territory, fixing him will help....BUT you have to look at everything else...if you haven't fallen yet...maybe you need a different dog....kwim? It took me all of a day to fall for each of our shelter dogs when I was younger.....Why did the shelter adopt him out w/o getting fixed? here in Illinois that's a HUGe no no!

We got Charley on a Saturday - and Danny and I left for WDW that following Wednesday. By then I was madly in love - and had to call and 'talk' to him while I was on vacation.

Hi gang,

Whats up??? So i finished day 2 of Merv training today. We got to take the rig on a highway and drive at 55 mph, its a real heavy, big, over sized truck but the 4 in this class with me all did fine. The hardest part is getting up at 3 am to be at the FDNY academy by 6:30am. We are having fun with that rig and all have around 3 hours each mannig the Wheel. They took me and another guy to a very busy residential area in queens with real small streets and lots of " S" like streets, lots of hard curves and turns, but none of us had too many problems.

The rig is 14 feet high, and ways over 2 tons and has air brakes, as for the lenght, i'm not so sure, but will try to find out. I'm really tired and are calling it a night very early since i have to get up at 3 am again tomorrow.

I was wondering about that. Don't know what made me think of it, but it was the only thing I could think of that would keep her that busy. Every place I go I keep looking for her to see if I recognize people...but everyone looks familiar.

Oh - cuz Im bitter cuz I was DEnied!! No thanks...we dont want ya!!!

Most likely due to a question I got during the simulator test which asked:

"What does Dr Joyce Brothers say the avergae woman will do 79 times, before marrying"

I spent waaaay too long on it, and never did find a good answer. So, IMO the woman is a quack. Because after 3 days of searching, someone finally found out it 'kiss'. Whatever. And she ruined my stinking ChaCha job. Skank.

But if you do sign up, you should do it under Tia's name. She'll get .02 cents off every question you answer too.


I was gonna do it while I was at work, too.... I figured Im on here DIS'n, why not lose the DIS, and get paid to mess around all day online, in addition to my paycheck - and Dr Joyce ruined that for me. ARGH!
