I leave tomorrow! We are still only half packed and i'm totally out of it! haha! Our dryer died a sloooow death last night, so I am having the repair man over today around lunch time hopefully so that Sal will be here.

Other than that we have to go and get swim pants for the big kids and some snacks for the plane.

It still doesn't seem real for some reason??

He actually called a DIS'er (GolfGal) in Minnesota and walked her through a dryer diagnostic - so she was able to fix it herself, Monday night.

Again - no joke, Jimmy does appliance repair. Talked GolfGal (whom I dont talk to at all - let alone the way we all talk) through a diagnostic, and figured out what was wrong with her dryer.

Call me first.

Argg...I have to run to the post office still AND grab something for dinner! I'm so behind because I had to wait for this dude! Anyone else feel super weird about having repair people in your house when your alone?? Or is it just me?? I always call my husband at work when they get here and stay on the line with him until they leave. It makes me feel better if he can't be here.

One time I was on the cordless while the AC guy was here on a 100* day when it crapped out. We were chatting and I was telling Sal how weird this guy seemed etc. and then after about 3 minutes the cordless DIED! Battery just went DEAD! So I went to call him back on the other phone, but Gabriel had just woken up from his nap (he was a baby) and I grabbed him changed his diaper and didn't hear the other phone ringing over Gabriels screaming

Sal was FREAKING OUT since this was back when he worked in the suburbs of Chicago! I finally answered the phone the 3rd time he called. YIKES!

I have no idea..... I actually was lurking over on the nasty board and someone asked what happened to my tag, I came back here and looked and Ill be dammed - it was gone!!!

So I started a thread - WTH happened to my tag??? Apparently it was deemed to be possible un PC - so they made it smaller. I said, since they screwed with it I deserved another.

Then I said - RIP possibly UN-Pc tag, RIP - and voila!

Yes, we are still packing (well Sal is! haha) and then loading up the van (Sal again) and getting all the carryons together (sal one more time) and then checking our emails (me! haahha).
