Hey all,
Yea, its really been cold here. Too cold! We are expected snow today, they say 1 to 3 inches.

Ok, i got a question for you guys.

Why did'nt i book the bounceback thing when i was there in sept 07????? Someone please slap me now!!!!!!

As of right now we are looking at the thrid week of august for a return trip. I really get a kick out of some people, saying how the heat is too much for those months and to advoid it. When we landed in sept 2007, disney had a high of 93 and the next day was 96. We are used to the heat and know how to handle it well.

I can live in 93 or 96 degree days with a t-shirt and shorts on. Try throwing on A pair of pants and then bunker pants 4 layers thick over that and a jacket that weighs 45 pounds in that weather and is 5 layers thick, the last nyc heat wave i got to do just that. So when it comes to 93 or 96 with shorts and a t-shirt i think i can manage!

PJ--Yeah, I see you would be a little less sensitive to the heat. I was fine until we got A/C. We didn't have it growing up, so the heat never bothered me. Then when I went to college and there was A/C, I don't like it over 90.

At least it's warmer today!!!!

Our weekend was busy !

Saturday - Grace had basketball, the fun fair at school, drum lessons, & a birthday party for her friend....& it was MY birthday.....

we ended up just going to a bar for dinner while the girls were at the party with a couple of friends....& then everyone ended up here to share a cocktail or two, or six after the kids party.

My friends....know me oh so well!!!! For my birthday I got $100 in Disney dollars!!!!, tons of scrapbooking stuff, and a really pretty Mickey pin w/ svarawski crystals.....

dh - well, I thought he did great, until later....he had someone who was visiting Peoria get me a new Bradley sweatshirt (that's where I went to school)...and the girls gave me a video ipod...hahah - plenty of room for my DIsney songs, podcasts, Hootie & the Blowfish, & Donny Osmond music!!!! Then...while all our friends were here...Mike gave me a set of golf clubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok, I hate golf, he golfs, I scrap. I was stunned.....I wanted to say "*** were you thinking, after 20 years you bought me golf clubs"....WHAT I DID say - "uh - they're pretty (they're chocolate brown & teal plaid)...."...He said he wants the 4 of us to go together..... - ok whatever, we'll see what happens...but I have no intention of golfing...


Then yesterday I took the gorls to see HSM on Ice. It was a pretty good show. We had 3rd row on the ice seats. Casey said the highest jump was a double lutz. She saw a couple of people she knew from the Boston senior Theatre on Ice team - We stayed afterwards & thhey came out & talked to a few people/....so she's now got her mind set...she's going to college in Boston, so she can join the senior Theatre on Ice Team Act 1 of Boston, then she wants to audition for any Disney on Ice that's available.

Today I'm stuck at home waiting for the cable guy....the cable box i guess broke yesterday while we were gone...AMAZING how fast Mike was in calling Comcast to coem out & fix it!!!!!!

Alright, I have a bit of free time!

Yesteday was Romans baptism and all went off perfectly, it was actually quite surprising. Little Roman slept the entire time and even through the brunch, some of our family members are soo loud, i think I was a bit thankful little Roman can't hear that well! haha!

Chris--Glad you had a good b-day! I know what you mean about the golf clubs...I think he had good intentions, but not for a b-day present.

Roman will be having surgery on Fabruary 26th, my dads birthday. We don't know the time until the day before surgery though, I have no clue why, but that's what they told me.

I found our new home!

I have been so busy! Check in was yesterday. Michelle, wow check in was so organized, I was running around from place to place! I am in Chatham, it is very nice!

I haven't had time to go back and read everything, I will later!

Mich - usually they don't give you the times, because they arrange the surgeries depending on severity & age.....because Roman is so little he will probably be earlier in the day...it's op surgery..but they like to keep the littlest patients as long as they can post op.

Not a very exciting day here....the gym & the grocery store....

Thanks for the info Chris, they did mention wanting him to go first, since he won't be able to eat that morning. I guess they are making sure who the youngest will be that day If we are first we will have to be there at 5am YIKES!

Heyyy!! When did February become non cheap-o season?? We were thinking of stealing away for a long weekend, but alas, it is costing us more than our November trip! hahaha!! I avoided presidents day weekend, but that didn't help since my dates were not flexible. (Romans pre-op appt, then his surgery and then his follow up appts. are all in different weeks!) So I got a quote from 2 travel agents (AND BOY was one TWICE AS MUCH as the other!!) and was ready to go! haha but alas no such luck Too much for a quick get away and then I don't want to give up my November trip Sooo we just have to wait.
