We are planning to stay here on our last night before we begin our drive home. Which building would you recommend? Probably near a pool would be good. We will stay in the parks as late as possible so we won't spend a great deal of time here. Any chance a code will be released? This is our first trip so I didn't know when they might be released or if they will. We have a disney visa and otherwise we would only qualify for gen. public discounts.

I happen to love the 50's - the 70's is also nice.

I think the only general public discount are only go for Aug/Sept as of yet.

I second requesting the 50s or 70s, although the resort is fairly small, so you'll be close to the action anywhere. Judging from your countdown clock it looks like you'll be going mid-November?!? Codes haven't come out for then yet, but likely will soon. I'd suggest booking now, and applying the codes after they come out. If you're worried that you might not catch them in time, or want help in planning the trip or PSs I suggest booking through dreamsunlimitedtravel.com We've used them for our last two trips and don't have a single complaint. They were able to get us any discount that was offered after we already booked!!

We will be staying at Pop on the 20th of Nov. for one night. We will check into POR on the 12th for 8 nights with the 5 plus 2 package. We have to book through disney travel because my husband has a card through work that he earns money on for certain things based on performance of his dept. and the card can only be used through Disney travel prior to arrival. That's what we are using for the first and last night and the hotel on the drive home, because it can be used at Mariott properties as well.

We are booked for two nights prior to a disney cruise in Jan. and our AAA agent told us to book the 60's. Is that a good location as
we have 4 kids 14,12,10,& 8 and we want to be close to the pool and food court?

Thanks
Patti

The 60s building costs $10 more a night than the other buildings because they are the closest to the food court and pool. That said, I think paying the extra $10 is a waste. We roomed in the 50s building and our room was closer to the pool and food court than some of the far off 60s rooms. Besides that, the resort is fairly small, so it's impossible for the food court and pool to be much more than a 5 minute walk from any room. If possible I'd book a standard room instead of the 60s room.

We stayed in the 70's section this past June,it was great! Very near pools, main building, bus stops and the parking was OK

Ditto. The 70's was great. We had a lakeview room...just beautiful.
