Hello, I have booked our first stay at the POP for May 3-11th and can't wait! I will be travelling with my DH and DS who will be just under 3 at time of travel.
I am trying to figure out what area or room to request. Since we are travelling with a preschooler, I am hoping for a room that has a decent view, not too noisy, and close to the buses - if such a room or area exists.

Any suggestions would be so greatly apprecieated!
Thanks,
Pengin

when i made my reservations on line, the only special request i made was for the 50's area, which is what i got(i paid for a standard room). the CM who checked me in put me in building 2, which has the jukebox in front of it. my room was on the second floor room 2260. it was the last room in the row, which made it pretty quiet. if you're there at 9pm in the evening you'll be able to see the fireworks from Illuminations in Epcot. The walk to Classic Hall was about 5-7 minutes for me (but then, I walk on the fast side) so I was able to get good use out of the refillable mug. Once in Classic Hall, all you have to do in go through the gift shop and exit out their doors and that brings you to the waiting areas for the buses.

hope this helps

Thank you so much for the info Me_Minnie_Me!

How is the weather up there...we have family in TO, in London(my home town), and Sarnia. We are in NC now and don't see any snow.

We also stayed in the 50s building. My kids loved walking out of our room and seeing Lady and Tramp. It was close to everything, really an excellent location.

Thank you sl_ underwood! This information is very helpful!

I wouldn't reccommend staying in the 90s, then. I felt like I was walking for hours just to get to the front of the resort. (not that I'm complaining--the bunny rabbits were all over back there and my kids loved seeing them in the morning)

As much as my DS would love to see the bunny rabbits, I would rather not have to walk too much as my little guys is under 3.
Thanks for the info!

We were in a standard room in the 70s Big Wheel building. The walk to the food court was very reasonable and we could cut around the building to get to the bus stop a little quicker than going through the main building. It was very quiet there.

Thanks for the info! What was your view like?

It was a great view of a little grove of trees - very quiet. At night, we could see the stairway to the 80s building which is the Rubix cube and it was really pretty all lit up!
