Pop Warner Week....any Info?

Anyone know when Pop Warner week is in WDW. I know its usually the first week in Dec. Anyone have any specific dates? Anyone ever been there during this time? Doe sit get overly crowded?

I don't know the dates but we were there during Pop Warner week last December and had absolutely NO problems. We stayed at Pop Century. I saw a few cheerleaders in uniform at the resort and at the parks, none were misbehaving, being loud, etc. The parks didn't seem especially crowded to me - from what I understand they have competitions going on during the day. I was concerned because of reading about some other folks experiences with Pop Warner week, but I was pleasantly surprised. I heard that they close MGM early one night for a Pop party, I think it was Friday night last year, so we just planned not to go to MGM that day.

Lots of threads around here about the Pop Warner week. Do a search for Pop Warner to get more info. Anyway, you'll get different opinions from everyone so I'll give you mine.

Low crowds, no rowdy teenager sightings, overall great week - we are going back the same week this year.

We were there last year also during Pop Warner week. We had no problems at all -- actually totally forgot that they were there. One thing to check into, though, is that MGM usually closes the park down 1 hr. early on Friday night for these kiddos. I don't see it reflected yet in the calendar.

HayGan--That is the schedule from 2005. It will probably be 12/3 - 12/9 this year.
