Just an fyi. Just got an e-mail from Deb Will's where it states:

The Pop Warner Super Bowl and the National Cheer & Dance Championships will be held at Disney's WWOS December 3-9, 2006.

Thanks so much! We are planning a trip Dec. 10-17 and will stay in a value if pop warner will be gone. Yea! (more money to spend in the parks!)

i have to say we freaked out when we learned we were there at the same time as POP last year. Stayed at POR, so not a ton of them there, but we did have to call security one evening on some of the cheerleaders. they were right outside our window and screaming, running, stomping at 11pm at night- we had a 2 year old trying to sleep. we asked them nicely twice, including the parents to calm them down, be quiet or move somewhere else to go run around, but to no avail. Security finally came and it got better.

other than that one incident, no problems. Most were respectful, especially in the parks and we saw very few of them in the parks, mainly at the hotel. The ones at the hotel were mainly by the pool the majority of the time. i think i would definitely bypass the value resorts that week though.

We did not have problems with the Pop Warner people last year (we were staying at the Poly) We are going to be there with them again this year and are so NOT worried about it. (I can understand the issue if I was staying at a value though!)
