Pop Warner at Pop Century??

Can anyone clarify with complete certainty, whether or not Pop Warner stays at Pop Century Resort? We are going to book Dec.6-13 (only dates we can all get off work) because POR is booked already I've read very diverse opinions on whether or not they stay at POP, does anyone know for sure? And if so, is it filled, or does it just catch the overflow? Thanks so much for any info....

The was I understand it has worked in the past is: All Stars resorts first, then it is a toss up for POR, POFQ and Pop. We're staying at POFQ and I'm not really worried about it. We stayed at WL 2 years ago while they were at WDW and we never really saw them, even at the parks.

All I can say is that they were not there in Dec. 2006. I thought that they only used All-Stars for a value resort but I was corrected by someone saying that they were there in 2004. But that was 2004 and things may have changed since. Of any value POP is the least likely place that they will be - even for an overflow. Because of their All-Star use POP was more crowded than I would have expected that time of the year. But we did not see anything of the groups at POP and actually very little of them in the parks either.

Three or more nights stay at Disney’s All-Star Resort (Sports or Music), or Disney’s Port Orleans Resort (Riverside or French Quarter). All participants/coaches must book a package through Disney Sports Travel and stay at one of the above mentioned resorts.
A 4-DAY, 5-DAY, or 6-DAY Sports Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper® Option* per person which includes admission to one or more of the following theme parks for each day of the Ticket: Magic Kingdom® Park, EPCOT®, Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.

There definitely were some Pop Warner kids and parents at Pop Century in 2004. Now, they may not have booked the package and booked separately.

Actually, had no issues with the kids. A few of the adults...well, let's just say bellowing from the second floor to the pool is a bit rude in my book! And that was just adults conversing!

Beyond that, no real issues with any of the Pop Warner participants during the December 2004 visit.

Just FYI, there is availability at Port Orleans French Quarter for your dates.

The reason PO Riverside is all booked up, is it will be full of Pop Warner kids, I betcha!

I tried to book POR yesterday and sadly theres no room at the inn, so I will be going to POP this year.

I know, thank you!!!!!!! We booked FQ yesterday as soon as we heard! We still have AAA on the lookout for POR for us, but I am still so happy, we got our second choice. Thank you!
