Pop vs AsMo: Buses to MK and Epcot

I just read on another thread that it usually took them about 45 minutes to get to MK from Pop. Does anyone know if this will probably be the case in early September?

We currently have ressies in early September at Pop (for the free dining plan!). I'd have to say transportation to MK and Epcot is our main concern -- that's why we usually stay at CR or Poly. But this trip is completely unplanned, unbudgeted so we have to stay at a vaule. So I would say AsMo (because DS loves Buzz) or Pop -- we have ressies with Pop because it is newer and I've heard good things. Can anyone give any input on the buses to MK and Epcot, compare them from Pop and from AsMo?

I assume that Pop to Epcot will be quicker because of the distance? But how about MK? And how about waiting for buses -- too many people waiting and getting on ever a problem?

Our trips home from MK to Pop took no more than 15 minutes tops. And the wait was never more than 15 minutes either. This was last week. Occasionally we had to wait for a second bus, but that's usually because we were just arriving as the first bus was filling up. Pop lines were short compared to the single bus stop for the AS resorts, which was usually 2 to 3 times longer. Epcot did have a shorter bus ride, no more than about 10 minutes.

We are staying at POP during the last week of August. I have never stayed at a value resort before so I did alot of research on what people thought of the bus service. It seems like most people have good experiences with the bus service at POP. I think 45 minutes would be a worst case scenario. I have heard many people say that they had a better experience with the bus service at POP than other resorts. Bad experiences with transportation can happen at any of the resorts, including POP. The only thing is the POP bus stop at MK, Epcot and AK are the last ones after exiting the park. This isnt a big deal for us though. Hope you have a great trip.
