I am booked at ASM but am now thinking maybe I should change to pop...I've heard that ASM don't have refrigerators anymore and Allstar sports food court is down which is making ASM's food court busier. We go in two weeks. I was thinking if we stayed at pop we could visit AOA. What would you do?

I thought the replacement of all refrigerators was complete, but could be wrong??
We stayed ASMU once and unless I had a preferred room, I would never stay there again.
POP has always been our favorite value resort and the farthest room out is not as far as we were at ASMU.

Pop is my favorite value resort so that would be where I would stay. I found ASMU quiet and boring and our room was a looong way from the main building. On the other hand if you are trying to avoid hustle/bustle then Pop may not be for you. Pop has an energetic quality that appeals more to people who would stay in the parks 24/7.

My vote goes to ASM. Pop has redone their food court and I like the menu much less than I used to. Pop has 1,000 more people so there are that many more voices and people in line for buses, food, etc. I was at both Movies and Music in August and I did not notice any impact on the food court from Sports being refurbished.

I'll agree with PPer that AsMu is more quiet than Pop--which is one of the appeals to me.

I stayed at Pop in August and usually like to switch up the resort we stay next time. But in December we are staying at Pop again. I didn't want to risk an over full cafeteria or no cafeteria. Its crowded enough w/o extra people. We use for breakfast, late nights snacks, and drinks.
