I have heard of people refer to the 1500 and 2000 loop as the "pop up loop". Are these the only two loops where pop ups can be used or something? :confused3

Absolutely not,,, you can put a pop-up on ANY site at the Fort. They call them pop up areas because the sites generally are not big enough pads or suited to be able to put a large camper on them, but the sites still have full service with the water , electric etc.

Well, almost full service, no sewer on these two loops. Like tents, many pop ups don't have "facilities", thus don't produce the amount of gray water to need a sewer site.

My pop up on the other hand has a full hard wall shower. We always get a full hook up site so we don't have to worry about the gray water.

Yea when we stay in November ours only has the sink but I think we are going to get the full sewer hookup. Who wants to worry about a gray water tank for the sink while at the ft.? ;)

We almost always stayed in full hookup sights when we had a pup. If you dont you will need a 5 gallon bucket to catch the gray water and hall it to the comfort station to dump it. What a pain!!!

No as others said pups can go in any loop but they typically don't create all the gray water that TTs or RVs do which triggers the need for a sewer hookup. A bucket to catch dish water is minimal trouble (that is if you wash dishes - we use paper plates). The Partial loops (1500 and 2000 are the cheapest at the Fort - I like that).

I had my pup twice in loop 900 (a Premium loop) because I like the location - I could walk from my camper to the Meadow Trading Post in less than 5 minutes. So park your pup proudly wherever you get a site.

Bama ED :woohoo:

We stayed at a preferred site with our pop-up. We hade a hose that ran our gray water to the sewer. However, the main reason we chose a preferred site was comfort stations. If you stay in a tent/pop up loop, you are going to be sharing the showers with the majority of campers on that loop. But if you stay on a full hookup loop, less campers are using the comfort stations because most of the rigs have their own restrooms.

We PUP (pop up) camped in loop 200 last October. I loved having the full hookups for my grey water (see my photos below) and also to dump my black water (porta-potty).
