pop up and mh has

anyone brought both and put it on the same site? we have 9 people 5 of which are kids oldest is 16 the youngest will be 9 the oldest is a girl the other 4 are boys yes they are all mine anyway my parents will be going as well which is where we get the 9 people so anyway my parents have a 36 ft mh and we have a pop up our plans are this since my moms mh will sleep 6 we are planning on staying in it will our dd the boys will be in the pop up that sleeps 4 will that work with the site and yes we have the site already booked they booked the fulkl hook up for a 40 ft mh thansk all I love the disboards so much a wonderful source of info

I believe that there is a rule which expressly states only one camping unit per site- so no motor home and pop up on the same site. I did see someone do this once, on the 1100 loop, but in all my other trips, I have never seen it, and I am pretty sure it is prohibited. Sorry.

A tent and motor home or camper on one site is OK, but not a motor home and another camping unit.

You could always put the boys in a tent. That is what we did last trip. There were 11 of us (2 were babies, so not we did not have more on the site than allowed). The boys slept in a tent in the back. If you go to the post a picture of your campsite thread, you will see my setup. Our tent was a coleman dome 8x8. A queen or king mattress will fit in there. You can usually find small tents for under $50 dollars. I found ours at big lots for $20. A 10x10 would sleep the boys fairly comfortably. They have tent fans that magnet to the ceiling for circulation. I am sure the boys would love the adventure.

The small dome tents set up in under 10 minutes quite easily. Much quicker than setting up the popup.
