I know I'll get 30 different opinions...

Never stayed at a value before, but I have Pop booked for an inexpensive trip w/FD in Sept. How's the bus situation?

At least 30 different opinions... :rotfl:

We stayed at POP in mid-November last year, during a slow week, and we had no trouble at all with the busses. Longest wait was probably 10 minutes and we never had to stand. However, we never hit a park at opening, either - we're not what you'd call early risers. ;)

We were very satisfied with the bus system and wished we hadn't spent the money for extra days on the rental car after our KSC visit.

No car for us during our December trip!

I've been at POP in August, Dec and May...have never had a bus issue.

We stayed at POP in Sept 05 and we're booked again this Sept. Mornings before the parks open and at night after the fireworks the lines were sometimes :scared1: I don't mean to scare you but I think if you know in advance that you may have to wait 3-4 buses to get back to the room then you'll either be pleasantly surprised if you don't have a long wait or you'll be prepared. The buses couldn't have been too bad, we are going to stay there again!

I agree with the PP who said at park closing it is hectic. However, they have always been good about getting more busses almost immediately. Before we had to make the jump to 2 rooms, (meaning it was back to a value), we stayed at POFQ, Poly, CBR, Dolphin and AsSp, too. In my opinion the bus service at Pop is better on a consistent basis. We have never waited too long, even in the middle of the day.

We were there last September during free dining and it was good. Didn't have to wait long for a bus to any park. It was crowded coming back a couple of times, but you need patience.

But I think this is true of all the resorts - not just POP. We've stayed at AKL, Swan and BWV and have had the same scenarios. I think the only resorts where you don't see this are the ones closest to each park, where you can either take a boat/monorail or walk. So pooch, I wouldn't let this scare you (not that undertheseas was trying to do that) - just know it's common.

I stayed at the POP in Jan of this year. Even though it was the slow season. There were no problems at all.. After wishes we had to wait a couple of buses. But they think ahead and were loading two buses at a time side by side.. The que's at the resort hold enough for one full bus.. So dont be discouraged if you walk up and see a busy que. Hope you have a good time the resort is great

Again, no problems with busses even though I'd been warned there might be. We had to wait a couple of busses at park closings, but pretty much everyone else does too. It is nice to hop on a bus and go straight to the park you want to go to with no other stops on the way.
