Pop to Chef Mickey's for early breakfast

We're staying at Pop and I made a breakfast reservation for 7:15am at Chef Mickey's. I'm wondering if the buses will be running early enough for us to get to the Contemporary by 7am. I know we can't go directly from one resort to another, so where should we transfer? It would probably be easier to take a cab, but we'd rather not.

I have never heard of a 7am ADR..thought thr earliest was 8am. Earliest bus at Pop is between 7am and 7:15am. You would need to take it to MK then jump on monorail to get to Chef Mickeys.

I've had one that early at CM's.....you have to be able to plan accordingly though when trying to figure out how to get there.
You will be able to get a bus to MK, from POP, at 6:30. Be out at the MK bus stop by 6:15..you don't want to miss the first bus!!! When you get on the bus, ask the driver which will be quicker to CR....walking or monorail. Then, the driver may very well offer to just drop you off at the CR, if there is no one else on the bus.
If they don't offer to drop you off, you can just walk. Get off the bus, walk towards MK, but go right when you get underneath the monorail line. Keep on that sidewalk, under the monorail, until you get to the CR. You do have to cross a street, but there are signals there.
The walk takes about 8 mins.

There are buses, from every resort, to MK starting by 6:30am..every morning. There are also buses, that may start a bit after 6:30, to the other parks. They are there for the express reason of early ADRs and tours. The restaurants in the resorts start serving around 7am, the park restaurants start around 8.

It is usually quicker to just walk to the CR vs taking the monorail. It takes about 4-5 mins to walk up to the monorail station, then you have to wait for a monorail to come, and then the 3-5 min ride to the CR....it only takes 8 mins to walk from MK to the CR along the sidewalk.

Breakfast at the Contemporary begins at 7:00am. And the above posters are correct. We had a 7:00am ressie at Chef Mickey's last Sept. and were coming from ASMusic. Get to the bus stop at 6:15 to make SURE you are on that first bus...which "usually" comes by around 6:30. If you miss that bus, the next one won't be back for quite a while. We didn't even have to ask the driver to take us to the Contemporary. We got on and he asked us where we were heading. We told him Chef Mickey's and he took us right there. Of course, we were the only ones on the bus. Have fun!

I always say by the time you walk to the Resort Monorail station you could have arrived at the Contemporary, plus you also need to factor in just waiting for the Monorail to arrive if it's not already there.

Plus, at that time of day, you could be stuck sitting on a monorail while they add another train to the line. The maintenance spur connects to the resort loop between MK and CR. It's a minimum 10 minute delay.

Much quicker to walk.
