POP Ticket Upgrade

We are taking advantage of the 4 for 3 promotion in April. We have 8 people staying at the POP. We booked it with a 1 day pass because 5 of us are AP holders. We are going to get to the resort at 7AM to drop off our bags at get to the parks. The remaining 3 in our party have to upgrade their 1 day pass to a 7 day pass. Will they be able to do that at the POP or do they have to upgrade at the park?

You should be able to have concierge upgrade your passes at POP.

That is what I thought. I called to make a change to our reservation earlier and the CM did not know if I could do that at the resort. I asked to be connected directly to POP but she told me she could not do that.
