Pop/Soda Free?

Is it free on DCL outside of the sitdown meals?

I know that on deck 9 there is a free soda station but I am not sure about room service or any other areas... I hope someone else can help us out.

Free only in the dining room and at the drink station. You pay for it at the bar and for room service, but with the drink station, why would you pay?

We booked our cruise through AAA and originally were supposed to get mugs for the kids to get free soda, but the agent told us that the policy has changed so that soda is free. Is this true? Or does he just not want to give us our mugs?

I believe they did away with the refillable soda package when they put free soda at the beverage station -- but I don't remember where I read that. Can anyone else verify?

They did, and some people reported that AAA gave them some onboard credit to replace the mugs..
