Pop Skyliner

Leaving Epcot via Skyliner continues to be a problem. Let's say you dined at Garden Grill (The Land) late in the evening (or a thunderstorm is rumbling in the distance after you finish not so late meal). Which way do you go?

1. For the Skyliner and it stops as you reach the International Gateway. Now you have to go to Boardwalk and catch a bus to Disney Springs.

2. For the bus station but they decide to run the Skyliner a little longer than schedules so the buses (to Pop Century, etc.) don't start for awhile.

Yes, that’s seriously a problem! I would ask the CMs at GG when I was leaving in hopes that they would know (particularly if leaving after park close) or would be able to call to find out - would that work?

You can get in line for the Skyliner till 10:30 pm. If you are in line by 10:30, they will load you. Skyliner closes when there is a sustained wind of 35 mph or lightning within six miles. Last place you want to be is in a steel box, connected to a steel cable, connected to a steel tower 80 feet in the air during a lightning storm, just uncontrollable safety issues.
If you are not going to make the 10:30 to get in line, you have to find another form of transportation. Same as the monorails, boats and buses, they all have closing times.
