Pop Room Request

Should I call and make a room request at POP, as DD wants to stay in a certain building? I've heard they assign you a room when you do the ME, so will we be able to ask when we check in or will that be difficult if they've already assigned a room to us? Any ideas? TIA!

I would call and request the building that you want, but its not guarenteed that you will get it. We have always been lucky enough to get the buildings we want. The earlier you check in, the better your chances of getting what you want. So, call and request and check in as early as possible!!

that when making a room location request to make sure it is noted on your reservation papers and then also you should call the actual resort (phone # on your reservation papers) about 1-2 days before checking in to ask what room has been assigned to you. That is because about 1-2 days out is when room assignments are made, and if you call your resort directly and ask to speak to somone about room assignment, is your best chance of getting what you requested. I faxed my request in 4 days before my arrival and got exactly what I asked for.

I really was not expecting it as we did not get there until 8:00pm.....

If you have your requests in your reservation no need to fax. Also when you think you are calling the resort you are most likely to be getting a call center not an actual person at the resort.
