POP Refurbished rooms????

I just saw pics on allears of the refurb rooms at POP. Does anyone know if they are planning on doing all rooms and when (aprox) they will be completed?

The papers filed with the county indicate they are refurbing all guest rooms in all buildings.

Typically.. it takes 7 to 10 days to do a 'building' providing they run into no issues and historically they shut down an entire building at a time.. do that building and then move on to the next. Note that they don't do the buildings in 'order' so they may start on building 7 and then do building 2 and then building 9 and so on.. the order is set by a number of factors that only really Disney knows.

What kind of issues can slow them down? Water damage, damage to the walls, mouldings, trim etc that have to be replaced, or even mold underneath carpets (which has to be sandblasted out and then treated with an inhibitor before new carpets are laid) etc..

Logically it should take between 10 and 14 weeks to complete ALL the rooms. They started in early February so.. probably by late April or early May - every last room should be done.. allowing a little time for 'issues'.

Yes it helps alot I am going in the middle of sept. I am sooo excited now! the rooms look really nice. Last year we were supposed to stay there but got upgraded to OKW . I am looking forward to trying POP, my neighbors love it there and they have beeen to every resort
