i booked a prefered room but want a pool view. i think is this better? or not and how do i do a request

Pool views cannot be guaranteed. You can note the request on your reservation, but they are not guaranteed.

With the preferred room you are paying to be in the buildings closest to the main building, in other words, you are paying for the slightly more convenient location.

I just got back from POP.

We had a fourth floor room in the 50's overlooking the bowling pin pool. I don't want a pool view again.

Friday night there are a group of 15 or so kids and 10 or so adults in the bowling pin pool at 2:30am. They were screaming and yelling like it was 2:30pm. After about 20 minutes security showed up and made them leave.

Around 3:00am on Saturday the same thing happened.

I thought the preferred romms were all around the pools ???? I could be wrong though. I thought the same thing about the noise levels though - wondered if it would get loud there.

I had a room in the 1970s building. We loved it. Still close to everything but quieter. If you've never been to the Pop you will love it!

Just returned on yesterday from POP, for the first part of the week we were in the 90's section we were steps from the parking lot and the pool and landry room, and then we switched to the 60's where we were very close to Everything Pop but it but very far from the parking area and was so noisy there. We didn't know how good we had it in the 90's section.

me 2, i had a pool view, there were a lot of noise from the pool till like 1am , and the music from the pool won't stop till actually 12am
but if noise is not a problem for you then you can always request. we didn't request, but they upgrade us a check in
