I am just going to give our deposit for POP and I booked a Preferred room. It has been awhile since we been there. Can someone recommend a good section or even a room? It is myself, DH and DD7. We will be using the pool.

We love any part of the 50's. It's close to parking and the food court.

We have stayed twice at Pop Century and in the same location both times:

This location is within 100 yards of Classic Hall and the Pop Jet pool for kids is right outside the door. It is a walk from the 70s parking lot, but we used the resort buses and never had a problem. We are staying this December and will request the same area.
This is our view from the front railing:

We were ground floor room 5162 - 10 steps to the pool, VERY quiet, 30 sec to the food court. Couldn't ask for a better room!

We didn't pay for preferred because of noise level concerns. We did however stay in the 50,s building facing Epcot and it was great!!! We saw fireworks for MK everynight!!! Plus seeing the Epcot ball was a great sight first thing in the am!! I thought it was very close, and also very quiet!!! Last 2 times we stayed in the 70's and the noise level was horrible:sad2:

I also share a similar question- My DF (23) and I (24) are going for our honeymoon in June. We have a standard room because I like being a little out of the noise and stuff. However- I don't want to walk FOREVER to the food court and stuff. What section do you think would be good for me and for our age group? I was thinking the 80s or 90s but I have heard a lot of good things of others. I really don't want to stay in the disco section. Or any of your Favs and why? thanks

I LOVED the 50's section also! It's close to the Food Court and two pools! We didn't swim, but it was fun to walk past them! :)

Define 'forever' :) No room is more than 250 yards from the center of Classic Hall. Really, what you want though, is a room facing the lake - ideally, also one facing Epcot, which would be buildings 3, 4, or 2.
