We booked a trip to pop century july 4-10 and splurged for a preferred room location. Does anyone know if it is still only the 60's buildings that are preferred? Also, if anyone has stayed in the preferred locations, I would love to know where you stayed in relation to the pool, kiddie pool, bus stop, etc. :)

I was there in May in a preferred room, and we were located on the 3rd floor of the 50s building, facing the "bowling pin" pool.

I was told that the perferred rooms consisted of the 50s 60s and 70s buildings when I called.

I stayed in preferred and it was the 60's bldg , but if was flr 3 right in front of the kiddie sprinkler pool. Loved it! The 60's are both on either side of the pools.

From what I've read here on the boards, all of the 60's buildings and the 50's and 70's sides that face the pool are considered preferred locations now. Is this correct?

I have no idea but I think thats a bit much.. So does that mean the rooms in those buildings facing the lake are not preferred? I would much rather see the lake than the pool anyway..

Thanks for all of your help!! I really want to get in the 60's. I'll probaly try to fax a room request before we arrive.

Some room in each of the 50s, 60s and 70s buildings are now designated "Preferred"; the remaining rooms in these six buildings, along with all the rooms in the 80s and 90s, are "Standard" (and no, I don't know which rooms :))
