POP - Preferred room or Epcot View?

I am wondering what ya'll prefer. Should I book a preferred room or one with a view of Epcot? We usually stay in the 70's section, but I think I am looking for something different.

If you have stayed in a room with a view of Epcot, what was your room number?

I dont really think there is a "view of EpCot"
In fact its even hard to get EpCot view when staying at Beach Club!

The higher EpCot fireworks can be seen from parts of the 50s bldg. Is this what youre calling "EpCot view"?

There is no Epcot view at Pop Century. I have heard people can sometimes see the fireworks, but you probably have to be looking in the right place to see them.

I guess the view of Spaceship Earth is what I was trying to say....sorry for the confusion...

I still don't think you can see anything more than some of the fireworks that are part of Illuminations. I have stayed at Pop before and don't remember even seeing that.

I would request any view of hour glass lake....dont get poolside...we did and it was a big mistake.....way too much noise all night long.....The lake is incredibly clear...go for a walk around it and on the path in the middle..you could see lots of fish, turtles......it was great....

From the third floor of the farthest 50's building from the lobby you can easily see Spaceship Earth if you look across Hourglass lake.

I have a friend who just returned from Pop Century and she took a couple of great photos of Spaceship Earth and Illuminations from her room, she was in 50's section Building 1 room 1437.

I wish I could post her pictures to show you.
