Pop - Prefered Room w/ Car Rental

Booked 8 nights at pop for last week in August choose a prefered room to be close to transporation and food court but now considering renting a car due to alot of complaints about transportaion. Stayed at POR last time and car was so close to your rooms it was great. How is parking @ Pop - is it better to not get prefered so closer to car if we plan on driving to the parks. Thanks for any help!

There are parking lots closeby to some of the preferred bldgs. But the rooms that would be considered preferred will be more to the inside of the resort. I was in bldg 10, a preferred room on the ground floor. We had to walk through the parking lot to get to the bus stops more quickly...so that might be an option for you. You might want to put that in a room request..preferred room, closer to a parking lot.
